The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 proudly participated in the 𝘼𝘾𝙀𝙑 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 facilitated by the Institutionalized Association of Community Extension Volunteers today, July 25, 2026, at the University of Nueva Caceres.

The activity gathered community extension 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 of the University, giving everyone the chance to meet, work together, and build new friendships. Through fun and interactive team-building activities, the participants learned the value of teamwork, strengthened their commitment to volunteerism, and enjoyed sharing the experience with fellow volunteers from across the campus.

Representing the College of Criminal Justice Education were student volunteers from both the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 and 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬. Together with volunteers from the other departments, they shared experiences, built new friendships, and embraced the true essence of community service.

With stronger bonds, renewed enthusiasm, and a deeper commitment to volunteerism, the 𝐂𝐉𝐄-𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐕 members are now ready to take on the challenges of the new academic year and implement community extension initiatives that will create a lasting and meaningful impact.

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 | In response to the recent volcanic activity of Mayon Volcano, volunteers from the College of Criminal Justice Education, composed of 𝟏𝟕 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 together with their 𝘾𝙅𝙀 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧, joined the 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 from the Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI)today, May 8, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The activity was also participated in by volunteers from various departments and units headed by UNC Institutionalized Community Extension Services, along with members of the Philippine Army, as part of the collective effort to support communities affected by the recent volcanic activity of Mayon Volcano.

The relief goods are set to be distributed to the residents of 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴, 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗮𝘆 who were affected by the ashfall caused by the ongoing minor strombolian activity and short-lived lava fountaining experienced last May 2, 2026.

During the repacking operation, 𝘾𝙅𝙀 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙗𝙖𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨.

The 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝟗, as 𝘾𝙅𝙀 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣 in the distribution of relief goods in Albay.
