Naga College Foundation, Inc. (NCF) invites its stakeholders to gather in prayer and gratitude as we honor the legendary journey and eternal flight of the beloved second NCF President, โ Capt. Roland Peckson Villanueva.
To accommodate the stakeholders across different regions, memorial services and opportunities for final tribute have been organized both at the NCF Main Campus and in Metro Manila.
The public vigil and viewing services will officially commence tonight, April 30, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., at the Del Pilar Chapel, Manila Memorial Park, Sucat, Paraรฑaque.
A Memorial Massโcongregating the NCF community to unite in collective prayerโwill be offered today, April 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, NCF Main Campus.
Coinciding with the final rites as the institution stands in spiritual solidarity with the Villanueva family, a second Memorial Mass will be held at the campus chapel on May 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The interment ceremony will take place on May 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Manila Memorial Park, where Capt. Roland shall reach his final horizon.
While we bid farewell to a foundational architect of our success, the flight path of excellence charted by Capt. Roland shall forever govern the spirit of the Home of the Champions and inspire the institution's future evolution.

In 2025, an interested student named ๐
๐ค๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐๐จ joined the NCF Robotics Summer Camp Workshop as a Grade 10 student with a strong interest in robotics and programming. Even at that time, he stood out as a fast learner, demonstrating focus, precision, and a natural ability in coding despite being new to the field.
Quiet yet highly driven, John continued to develop his skills beyond the workshop. His passion for robotics eventually led him to pursue further opportunities, transferring to NCF for Senior High School and continuing his training with the team.
Through dedication and continuous improvement, he was later recognized alongside his teammates with the ThinkโTryโImprove Award during our participation in the 15th FIRST LEGO League Philippines 2026, held on February 14, 2026, at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School โ Vermosa Campus, where Team Activus, competing under NCF BED Robotics, showcased their skills and innovation.
Today, he is one of the esteemed members of the Research and Technical Committee of NCF Robotics, continuing to exemplify what it means to pursue oneโs passion and interests with discipline and purpose.
His journey shows that with the right environment and determination, potential can turn into meaningful achievement.

Through continuous training and dedication, they gradually developed their skills and confidence, taking their first steps beyond the workshop and into the competitive field.
๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, they also represented their team at the ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป held at the๐๐ฃ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ง๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ง๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ช๐๐ค ๐พ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ. Continuing the journey, James Ronda further showcased his skills by participating in the FLL Philippines 2026, held in Cavite City on February 14, 2026, where he and his team were recognized with the ThinkโTryโImprove Award.
Their journey is a reminder that every expert once started as a beginner, and every achievement begins with the decision to try.

From our previous Robotics Summer Camp workshops in 2023, we witnessed hundreds of participantsโfrom young students to teens, as well as teachers and non-studentsโstep into the world of robotics with curiosity and determination.
Through robot design, obstacle challenges, line-following activities, and competition-based tasks, participants explored not just how robots work, but how ideas are built, tested, and improved. More importantly, we saw first-time learners succeed, confidence grow, and teamwork come to life in every challenge completed and every project presented.
These moments remind us that robotics is more than just technologyโit is about learning, collaboration, and innovation in action.
As we continue this journey, we look forward to creating more experiences like these in our upcoming workshops.
Together let's leap into the Future!
