In the early evening today, reports reached the University leadership about two alarming online posts today, September 14, made from a dummy account and subsequently reposted by other dummy accounts. The first, posted in the morning, showed the image of a gun and warned the Junior High School community to “be prepared.” Later in the day, the same image was posted again with the text, “maybe not today but tomorrow lol.”

The university has reported the posts to the authorities, and the matter will be investigated under cybercrime laws. Threats to the safety of the community, whether made casually or otherwise, will not be taken lightly. They will be dealt with seriously and in accordance with all relevant laws and school rules.

Nevertheless, school operations must continue with increased vigilance in our security protocols. As you know, we have already put several measures in place since last month in response to the recent incidents of gun violence in schools across the country. Classes and office operations will proceed as usual tomorrow, September 15, following the established schedule of all units and offices. We ask everyone to remain calm, alert, and cooperative as we continue to safeguard our community.

Please be guided accordingly, and let us each do our part to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.

𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 | The NSTP Completers participated in a dry run today, September 3, in preparation for the much-anticipated NSTP Completion Rites tomorrow, September 4.

The activity aimed to familiarize the completers with the program flow, sequence of activities, proper formations, and other important details to ensure a smooth and organized ceremony.

A heart felt thank you to all our NSTP students for joining today’s Completion Rites Orientation and for your unwavering commitment and openness to understand what lies in Padagos.

See you on our dry run on September 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Covered Courts.

𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 | Students from Batch 2024–2025 and Batch 2025–2026 are currently gathered at the ADNU Gymnasium for the orientation briefing on the upcoming NSTP Recognition Rites.

​As the September 4 celebration approaches, today's session walks students through the context, program flow, guidelines, and expectations to honor their hard work, dedication, and service to the community.

More importantly, it serves as a moment of gratitude and appreciation for the ongoing mission of being in service for and with partner-communities across the Bicol region.
