(𝐀𝐂𝐍) successfully conducted a 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 on August 7, 2026, at 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜., 𝐍𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨, in collaboration with the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲(𝐃𝐓𝐈). This activity was participated by selected members of 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 3𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐀) students. It was assisted by the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, a student organization of ACN that facilitated in the labeling activity.

The training featured 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐓. 𝐂𝐚ñ𝐞𝐭𝐞 as the Resource Person, who generously shared his expertise, insights, and practical guidance on effective packaging and labeling. His valuable contribution helped inspire innovation, improve product presentation, and strengthen the participants’ knowledge and skills in enterprise development, particularly in creating attractive, appropriate, and market-ready product packaging and labels.

With this meaningful activity, ACN together with its partners enhanced the participants capabilities and developed confidence in their products. Thus making their products competitive and easy to market.

📚 Basic Bookkeeping Seminar | July 6, 2026

Empowering communities through financial literacy!

The Basic Bookkeeping Seminar was successfully conducted on July 6, 2026, at the Basic Education Function Hall of Assumption College of Nabunturan, Inc.

The seminar featured Mr. Placido Alcomendras, Jr., CPA, Head of the College of Accountancy Education (CAE), as the resource speaker. He shared valuable insights and practical knowledge on the fundamentals of bookkeeping, equipping the participants with essential skills they can apply in managing the financial records of their respective barangay associations.

To reinforce the learning experience, CAE students actively assisted in facilitating the hands-on bookkeeping activities, providing guidance and support to the participants throughout the workshop.

This initiative reflects the institution's commitment to empowering communities by strengthening their financial management capabilities and promoting transparency, accountability, and sustainability within local organizations.

📍 July 2–3, 2026 | Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Making Training

The Community Engagement Services Office of Assumption College of Nabunturan, Inc., in partnership with the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), successfully conducted a Two-Day Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Making Training on July 2–3, 2026, at the BRC–Mother Marie, Assumption College of Nabunturan, Inc.

Day 1 (July 2, 2026) featured Dr. Joyce C. Limbaga, who discussed the proper methods and techniques in producing high-quality Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Participants were introduced to the step-by-step process of VCO production, emphasizing quality standards, proper handling, and best practices to ensure a safe and premium product.

Day 2 (July 3, 2026) focused on product development and entrepreneurship. Mr. Bryl I. Manigo facilitated an engaging session on product labeling and packing, teaching participants how to design effective labels and establish a unique brand identity to increase the marketability of their VCO products.

The training concluded with an inspiring lecture by Dr. Emelie G. Pelicano, who discussed the fundamentals of marketing and entrepreneurship, equipping participants with practical strategies for promoting their products, identifying target markets, and transforming their VCO production into a sustainable livelihood and business venture.

This two-day training provided participants with comprehensive knowledge—from VCO production to labeling, marketing, and entrepreneurship—empowering them with the skills needed to create quality products and develop sustainable income-generating opportunities.

The Community Engagement Services Office extends its sincere appreciation to the resource speakers from USeP for sharing their valuable expertise and for their unwavering commitment to empowering communities through knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣, 𝙄𝙣𝙘., through the 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 in partnership with the 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮, successfully conducted a 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 for the 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 – 𝘼𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙪𝙧 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙗.

This meaningful initiative was made possible with the help and dedication of the𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘽𝙎𝙊𝘼) 𝙊𝙣-𝙩𝙝𝙚-𝙅𝙤𝙗 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙊𝙅𝙏) 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, who assisted in sorting, organizing, and preparing the donated books for distribution.

The donated books were officially received and picked up by 𝙈𝙧𝙨. 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙖 𝙋. 𝙂𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙡, 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙪𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧, representing the 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙗.

𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐏𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐨: 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐘 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
On March 30, 2026, with compassion at the heart of its mission, PICPA Davao de Oro proudly carried out the BIGAY BIGAS Project at Cabacungan Elementary School, bringing hope and nourishment directly to its young learners. This initiative reflects the organization’s enduring commitment to serve communities and empower the next generation through acts of kindness and solidarity.
The project was made possible through the collaboration with Hugood Food Corporation Nabunturan Branch, represented by Mr. Julden Kit A. Dañola, and Community Engagement Services Office-ACN, led by Mr. Joshua Gabino. In partnership with Power J Electrical Products and Hardware Materials, who generously provided snacks for the students, and guided by the dedication of Mr. Robert Jhon M. Homigop, Teacher-in-Charge of Cabacungan Elementary School, the activity became a true embodiment of unity, generosity, and shared responsibility—nourishing both body and spirit while inspiring resilience, gratitude, and hope among students and their families.
