We are still buzzing from the energy of the GADToKnow: Basic Gender Sensitivity, Digital Safety, and Responsible Energy Use seminar held last April 25, 2026, at the MSUN TSAC. It was an incredible day of growth and discovery for our 1st Year CWTS students, who showed up with enthusiasm and a ready-to-learn attitude.
The sessions kicked off with Ms. Jollibee Alindajao, who facilitated the Basic Gender Sensitivity (GST) training. Through a series of fun and engaging activities, she turned complex topics into relatable lessons, helping our students build a stronger foundation for inclusivity and mutual respect.
Following this, Mr. Van Jason Arellano took the stage for an eye-opening and highly interactive session on Digital Safety. He provided our students with essential tools to navigate the online world securely, sparking meaningful dialogue about the importance of protecting one's digital footprint.
To round out the day, Engr. Shiela Sugue delivered a vital talk on Responsible Energy Use. Beyond just theory, she provided practical, everyday tips on how students can actively conserve energy and contribute to a more sustainable campus. A huge thank you to our expert speakers for their time and to our students for their active participation; youโve proven that being socially aware and environmentally conscious goes hand-in-hand with student leadership!

The MSU at Naawan Gender and Development (GAD) Office joins the nation in honoring the incredible women who nurture, lead, and inspire us every single day.
Motherhood takes many formsโit is found in our biological mothers, grandmothers, foster moms, aunts, and the mentors who guide us with a motherโs heart. Today, we recognize not just their unconditional love, but their immense contribution to social development and gender equality.
