In view of the continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 131, all classes at San Beda College Alabang will shift to online learning on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and personnel while allowing learning to continue.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective teachers/ advisers for instructions regarding their online classes.

In view of Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the President on August 18, 2026, and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and localized weather-related hazards, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

To ensure a clear and consistent policy on the conduct of classes during periods of inclement weather, San Beda College Alabang shall observe the following guidelines for the 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐆𝐄) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

🌧️ 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄-𝐓𝐎-𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃

Whenever the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐆𝐔, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧̃𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 announces the suspension of face-to-face/onsite classes due to inclement weather, the 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬) shall be followed as the default learning modality.

This applies to 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 under both TGE and Basic Education, unless otherwise directed.

⚠️ 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒

If the announcement from the Muntinlupa City LGU, Malacañang, or another competent government authority specifically declares a 𝐓𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒, 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝.

All classes shall be suspended for the period covered by the government declaration.

📌 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑

This policy applies during weather-related situations such as Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), heavy rainfall warning, flooding, and other weather disturbances that may result in the suspension of face-to-face classes.

Students, parents, faculty, and personnel are advised to regularly monitor the official communication channels of San Beda College Alabang, as well as official announcements from the 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐆𝐔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧̃𝐚𝐧𝐠, and to follow the applicable directive 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐝.

This policy is intended to ensure continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and well-being of the entire San Beda College Alabang community.

𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | 𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In view of the suspension of face-to-face classes announced by the City Government of Muntinlupa, and based on the local weather monitoring report of the Muntinlupa Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), face-to-face classes are suspended today, Monday, August 17, 2026, in all levels of the Basic Education Division.

All classes shall proceed through synchronous online delivery as an Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Students are advised to coordinate with their respective professors and check their official class channels for further instructions.

Classes in the Tertiary and Graduate School Divisions shall likewise shift from face-to-face to online classes.

The official announcement on the suspension of face-to-face classes may also be accessed through the official page of the City Government of Muntinlupa and/or the page of Mayor Ruffy Biazon.

In view of Memorandum Circular No. 126 issued by Malacañang on the adoption of an alternative learning modality today, August 14, 2026, onsite classes under Tertiary and Graduate Education will transition to online learning.

Face-to-face classes will end at 11:00 A.M., with online classes resuming at 12:30 P.M.

Students are encouraged to coordinate directly with their professors and regularly check their official class channels for the online meeting links, class instructions, and any announcements concerning their classes.

Everyone is reminded to prioritize safety and exercise extra caution in view of the current weather conditions.
