The college proudly recognizes the dedication and hard work of our graduating students as they reach a significant milestone in their academic journey.
BS Computer Science (BSCS) students have begun completing their Thesis Final Revisions, with some already having successfully complied, while others continue to finalize their work. Likewise, BS Information Technology (BSIT) students are in the process of finalizing their Capstone Project Revisions, with several already completed and others still progressing toward completion.
As part of the completion process, students have started proceeding with the signing of their Approval Sheets, while some have already secured their approvals, marking the culmination of their research and development efforts.
This achievement reflects months of perseverance, collaboration, and commitment to excellence in research and innovation. From proposal to ongoing final revisions, our students continue to demonstrate their technical competence and readiness to contribute to the field of technology.

The College of Information Technology and Computer Studies (CITCS) faculty members actively participated in the Research Presentation held on June 9, 2026, at the Soroptimist International Alabang (SIA) Hall, PLMun.
The activity was organized by the Center for Research, Development, and Publication under the Office of Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, Linkages, and International Affairs (REQALIA).
CITCS researchers were Dean Alain J. Anuevo, Dr. Alni Gavjaymin B. Casacop, Dr. Sherwin C. Esteron, Asst. Prof. Kaycee R. Mendez, and Prof. Melchor L. Paz.
The participation of CITCS highlights the college’s commitment to producing relevant, impactful, and community-oriented research, particularly in supporting public healthcare institutions through technology and innovation.
In addition to CITCS, other colleges and offices of the university also presented their respective research studies, demonstrating a collaborative and interdisciplinary effort toward institutional and community development.

The College of Information Technology and Computer Studies (CITCS) proudly shares a significant academic milestone as its distinguished faculty and researchers formally presented their research titled:
“PLMUN Alumni Impact and Engagement: Towards a Smart, Inclusive, and Data-Driven Alumni Ecosystem.”
The research was led by Dean Alain J. Anuevo, in collaboration with Faculty Member Jun R. Sacapaño, ICT Office Programmers Mr. Manolo A. Bilog and Dionnel C. Nava, and Center for Flexible Learning Director Asst. Prof. Evangeline Q. Mancia, who presented the study.
The research was presented to the officers of the MPC-PLMun Alumni Association, led by President Mr. Jose Q. Lazar, whose generous research grant made this initiative possible.
The study aims to strengthen alumni relations by leveraging data-driven strategies and inclusive engagement approaches, ultimately contributing to a smarter and more connected alumni ecosystem.
Also featured during the event were research presentations from various colleges and offices of the university. Among them, Dr. Sherwin C. Esteron and C**A Director Mark Anthony M. Esguerra, both faculty members from CITCS, together with their group members Dr. Edsel R. Umali, Director Fe S. Dullavin, and Assoc. Prof. Ghiebert Son I. Octavio, presented their study entitled:
“Fill in the Gaps: Matching the Curriculum Design with Labor Market Demand.”
Another group also presented their study titled:
“Employer Feedback on the Workplace Performance of PLMun Graduates: Basis for Curriculum Enhancement and Skills Development Strategies,” led by Asst. Prof. Ma. Purificacion M. Gannaban, together with Dr. Rowena G. Dela Cruz, Dr. Fermae L. Tamayao, Ms. Maricel Garcia, and Ms. Argeline Sotillo.
The event was organized by the Office of the Center for Research Development and Publication, under the leadership of Director Fe Dullavin, and is part of the university’s commitment to advancing research and innovation. The office operates under the cluster of Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, Linkages, and International Affairs, headed by Vice President Dr. Edsel R. Umali.
This achievement reflects PLMun’s continuous dedication to excellence in research and its ongoing efforts to foster collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.

RELEASE OF THE THIRD BATCH OF GRADUATION PICTURES FOR BATCH SIDHAYA
We are pleased to inform our graduates that the third batch of official graduation pictures for Batch Sidhaya is now available at the University Registrar’s Office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM only.
Students are advised to check the Google Drive link for the schedule of picture release. Only those listed are authorized to claim their photos at this time. Kindly follow the posted procedure to help us maintain order and efficiency.
Graduation photographs from the previous batch that remain unclaimed are still available for collection at the Registrar’s Office. Thank you for your cooperation.

Our CITCS graduating students continue to take meaningful steps as they complete their clearance signing and exit interviews, an important part of their journey toward graduation.
We’re happy to see more students coming in this week to accomplish their requirements, showing their readiness to close this chapter and move forward to new opportunities.
