Bilang bahagi ng pagpapalakas ng kahandaan sa panahon ng sakuna, ipinaliwanag ni Mr. Miel M. Pineda, School Head In-Charge ng Latangan Elementary School, sa mga mag-aaral ang kahalagahan at wastong paggamit ng Go Bag na ipinagkaloob ng Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Mulanay sa pangunguna ni Hon. Mayor Aristotle L. Aguirre, sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) sa pamumuno ni Mr. W***y P. Lincallo.

Sa kanyang talakayan, isa-isang ipinakita at ipinaliwanag ni Sir Miel ang mga laman ng Go Bag, kabilang ang first aid kit, mga pangunahing gamot, at iba pang emergency supplies na maaaring magamit sa oras ng kalamidad at iba pang hindi inaasahang sitwasyon. Binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng pagiging handa at pagkakaroon ng sapat na kaalaman sa tamang paggamit ng mga kagamitang pang-emergency upang mapangalagaan ang sariling kaligtasan at makatulong sa iba kung kinakailangan.

Ang gawaing ito ay naglalayong mapataas ang kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral sa kahandaan sa sakuna (disaster preparedness) at mahikayat silang maging responsable at handa sa anumang emergency na maaaring kanilang maranasan.

Formal Turnover and Endorsement of School Properties

A formal turnover and endorsement ceremony was conducted for the semi-expendable properties, ICT equipment, and other school assets under the accountability of Mrs. Josefina D. Malabanan as she officially concludes her years of dedicated service and begins a well-deserved retirement.

The properties were formally turned over to the newly designated Grade 5 Adviser, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities and the continued proper management and safekeeping of school resources.

The Latangan Elementary School family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Josefina D. Malabanan for her unwavering commitment, dedication, and invaluable contributions to the school and the learners throughout her years in the teaching profession.

Patuloy na isinasagawa ang iba’t ibang sports activities sa Latangan Elementary School bilang bahagi ng ating layunin na mapaunlad ang pisikal na kakayahan, disiplina, at sportsmanship ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na pagsasanay at aktibong pakikilahok, nahuhubog ang kanilang talento, tiwala sa sarili, at pagmamahal sa isports. Maraming salamat sa ating mga masisipag na g**o, coaches, at mga magulang sa kanilang walang sawang suporta sa ating mga batang atleta.

Sama-sama nating itaguyod ang isang malusog, aktibo, at masiglang Latangan Elementary School! 💙💛

On JULY 16, 2026, at about 7:30 AM onwards, PMS Malou T. Malabanan, Assistant WCPD PNCO, conducted a coordination dialogue with the Principal, teachers, and grade 5 students of Latangan Elementary School on “Strengthening Preventive and Responsive Security Measures within Educational Institutions” and Republic Act No. 10627 (Anti-Bullying Act of 2013).
The activity aimed to raise awareness, promote security preparedness, and strengthen the shared responsibility of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the school administration in maintaining a safe, secure, and child-friendly learning environment. Discussions focused on preventive security measures, emergency preparedness, and the importance of close coordination between the school and law enforcement authorities in addressing safety concerns.
During the activity, PMSg Malabanan also emphasized the salient provisions of Republic Act No. 8353 (The Anti-Rape Law of 1997), Republic Act No. 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), and Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act). She highlighted that protecting women and children is a shared responsibility among parents, teachers, school officials, community members, and law enforcement agencies.

Agad na isinagawa ng mga g**o, kawani, at mga mag-aaral ng Latangan Elementary School ang tamang Duck, Cover, and Hold bilang pagsunod sa mga itinakdang earthquake safety protocols. Sa araw na ito, buong puso nating kinikilala at pinararangalan ang ating mga mag-aaral na buong husay at dedikasyong nagbigay ng karangalan sa Latangan Elementary School sa kanilang natatanging pagganap sa iba’t ibang larangan ng kompetisyon.

Ang inyong tagumpay ay bunga ng sipag, tiyaga, disiplina, at determinasyon. Kayo ay nagsilbing inspirasyon hindi lamang sa inyong kapwa mag-aaral kundi maging sa ating mga g**o, magulang, at buong komunidad ng Latangan.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang ng inyong mga medalya at tagumpay, kundi pagkilala rin sa sakripisyo at walang sawang suporta ng inyong mga coach, g**o, at mga magulang na naging katuwang ninyo sa pag-abot ng inyong mga pangarap.

Nawa’y magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang patuloy ninyong pagyamanin ang inyong mga talento, ipagpatuloy ang pagsusumikap, at maging huwaran ng kahusayan at mabuting asal.
