Applications are processed every weekday during two sessions: from 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 to𝟭𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗔𝗠 and from 𝟭:𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗠 to 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. Furthermore, applicants are encouraged to have all necessary requirements prepared during these designated office hours.

IN PHOTOS | CLTL-ASTS Honors Excellence During 2026 Graduation and Completion Rites

The Central Luzon State University Laboratory for Teaching and Learning-Agricultural Science and Technology School (CLTL-ASTS) celebrated the academic triumph of 123 students during its 29th Annual Recognition and Promotion, 11th Completion Ceremonies, and 9th Senior High School Graduation Rites held on May 5, 2026, at the Auditorium.

Anchored on the theme "Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang May Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao," the event recognized 82 graduates and 41 completers. The Senior High School featured 82 graduates led by Valedictorians Elyyahson D. Rosales and Johana Loraine S. Santos, who both earned Highest Honors alongside 32 other honor graduates. Meanwhile, the Junior High School completion class was topped by Highest Honor recipients Hannah Mae B. Salazar and Chella Mae B. Urbano, leading a cohort that included seven High Honor and 22 Honor awardees.

Guest of Honor and Speaker Mr. Aldrin P. Alamani, a distinguished alumnus, delivered a heartfelt address centered on resilience. Drawing on his personal journey, Mr. Alamani emphasized that his education at CLTL-ASTS equipped him with the mental and emotional fortitude to navigate life's challenges, urging the graduates to value the grounded perspective their alma mater offers.

University officials, led by Vice President for Administration Dr. Ariel G. Mactal, representing the University President, Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, was joined by Dr. Celyrah B. Castillo, representing the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ravelina Velasco; College of Education Dean Dr. Florante P. Ibarra; CLTL Chair Dr. Ma. Catalina D. Cadiz; and Unit In-Charge Associate Professor Ma. Johanna J. De Dios to witness the awarding of medals, pinning of ribbons, and distribution of diplomas.

The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and optimism, serving as a testament to the collaborative efforts of faculty, parents, and the resilient student body. Now equipped with their diplomas and certificates, the Batch of 2026 is set to enter the next chapter of their lives, prepared to lead not only in their community but also in the nation with competence and integrity.

LOOK | CLSU Bulls Rodeo Team Dominates National Finals, Shatters Stereotypes

The CLSU Bulls Rodeo Team, composed of 11 Students from the College of Agriculture (CAg), 3 from the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine (CVSM), and 1 from CLTL – Agricultural Science and Technology School, displayed exceptional skills and grit at the 30th Philippine National Rodeo Finals in Masbate City, held last April 10–19, 2026.

Outperforming competitors from across the country, the team secured multiple awards and redefined the role of women in the traditionally male-dominated sport.

Led by Ms. Christel Mae G. Firme and Ms. Rizza Mae B. Matutino, the squad's dominance across various events earned them the title of Overall Champion in the Student Category (Women).

The winners are:

The team’s success highlights CLSU students' ability to balance rigorous academics with national-level sports. Santiago (CAg Faculty); and Trainer, Mr. Clodualdo Firme.

𝐘𝟒𝐌 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬

These capture the collective experiences of the student delegates who attended the Youth for Mechanization (Y4M) Boot Camp held at the PHilMech main office on April 14-15.

A total of 82 senior high school students from the Central Luzon State University - Agricultural Science and Technology School (CLSU-ASTS) participated in this two-day event, which aimed to provide delegates with hands-on learning experiences to enhance their appreciation of agricultural mechanization.

During the event, Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Jr., expressed his support for the Y4M program and highlighted the vital role of youth in agriculture.

“By being here, you’re not just learning skills; you are joining a movement that is shaping the future of food and farming in our country,” Secretary Tiu Laurel Jr. stated.

Additionally, Director Dionisio G. Alvindia encouraged the delegates to pursue agricultural courses in college, finish their education, and become agripreneurs for a prosperous future.

He also emphasized the need for parents to change the narrative surrounding agriculture and to instill positive attitudes about it in their children.

The boot camp provided delegates with a rich experience that included short lectures, hands-on use of rice production machinery, drone demonstrations, photo and essay competitions, group games, campfire activities, and a concept pitching contest designed to unleash their creative ideas for promoting Y4M further.

Delegates praised the event for enhancing their appreciation of agriculture as a modern and innovative field, transforming them into advocates for Y4M. They also expressed their eagerness to volunteer for future Y4M activities to engage more youth like them.

The Y4M program aims to rebrand the image of agriculture among youth and mobilize them into a skilled workforce in mechanization for the sector, which will help secure the food supply and future of the country.

ADVISORY | Energy Conservation Protocols

In accordance with the recent directive from Malacañan Palace mandating all government agencies and instrumentalities to strictly implement energy conservation protocols, University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella, has issued Memorandum No. 2026-03-09 (02).

In line with this directive, all university employees and students are enjoined to observe and comply with the following energy conservation measures:

1. The University shall continue to implement the flexi-Friday work arrangement (Mon-Thu: onsite, Fri: work-from-home) pursuant to the terms and conditions stipulated in Memorandum No. 2025-09-25 (05) earlier issued by the Office of the University President.

2. Working onsite every Friday is discouraged. Offices are expected to be closed. Strategies to effect uninterrupted delivery of services despite the work-from-home setting should be established by the units concerned. The program vice presidents shall strictly monitor the full compliance of the units with the work-from-home arrangement.

3. NSTP and Graduate classes held onsite every Friday and Saturday shall be conducted through online platforms, except when face-to-face meetings are necessary to fulfill specific curricular requirements.

4. JO/COS and plantilla personnel assigned in research projects, laboratories and production modules may work onsite every Friday depending on the requirements of their works and subject to the final approval of the program vice president concerned.

5. Frontliners (i.e., employees whose physical presence is essential for the continuous delivery of critical services, e.g., security, health, public safety, emergency preparedness and response) are expected to report onsite on Fridays.

6. Carpooling shall be strictly implemented. Should the passengers be ferried to different locations, the time of departure of the University vehicle shall be the earliest time declared in the itineraries of travel of the passengers. Similarly, other passengers shall wait for the last one to complete his/her official business before the University vehicle may return to the campus. Those who wish to return earlier may do so by commuting charged to their personal account.

7. No University vehicle shall be assigned to a lone passenger. In this instance, he/she is strongly encouraged to travel via public transport or other more economical means, subject to government rules and regulations on reimbursement of allowable expenses.

8. Air conditioning units shall only be operated from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM and set at no lower than 24°C. Specialized facilities requiring cooler temperatures may be exempted from this provision, subject to the endorsement of the head of the delivery unit and final approval by the vice president concerned.

9. All requests for team building activities to be funded by the University shall be on hold until further notice except those which had been approved and arranged prior to the issuance of MC No. 114, provided that the personnel/group concerned can provide proof of payment or reservation and will shoulder the fuel and other incidental travel costs. Similar activities charged to the personal accounts of the participants, however, may be pursued on official time.

10. No face-to-face events shall be conducted on Fridays. Activities may only proceed if they are conducted through online platforms

11. The Chair of the CLSU Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee (Engr. Ardie L. Arimbuyotan) is hereby assigned as the Energy Conservation Officer tasked to submit monthly electricity and fuel consumption data to the Office of the University President for review prior to submission to the GEMP Online System Portal in the form and manner prescribed by the DOE.

12. Janitors/Utility personnel are assigned by this office to strictly monitor the utilization of classrooms and other facilities. Loitering inside the classrooms with air conditioning units turned on in between classes is discouraged. These facilities should be closed when not in official use. Lounges and study halls are available to students.

The entire CLSU community is enjoined to observe and adhere to these measures in order to support the effective implementation of the prescribed energy conservation protocols.
