𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| ABLE-CLSU joined the annual Guidance Caravan in collaboration with the College of Veterinary Science and Medicine Student Government, together with CVSM students and psychology student volunteers, held at 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧.

The activity featured 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒓𝒊𝒏-𝒚𝒐𝒌𝒖 or “forest bathing,” a guided, nature-based practice that promotes mindfulness and psychological well-being. Surrounded by the calming presence of nature, participants were encouraged to slow down, reflect, and reconnect—fostering both individual wellness and collective awareness.

As part of the experience, students engaged in 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠, a symbolic and grounding activity where they were invited to release and let their negative energy be absorbed by the trees and natural surroundings. This was followed by a 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, creating a safe space for expression and mutual support.

To further deepen relaxation, the session also included 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲, allowing participants to soothe their minds through calming scents, and 𝐭𝐞𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲, which offered a quiet moment of comfort and reflection.

The activity concluded with a creative segment where psychology student volunteers guided participants in 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐢 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, encouraging mindfulness through simple, focused movement.

Through these holistic and inclusive practices, ABLE-CLSU continues to advocate for diverse and accessible approaches to mental health—where healing is experienced, shared, and nurtured within the community.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| ABLE-CLSU stands firm for Mental Health, Equality, and Inclusion

Strength is not just endurance — it is the courage to be seen, to be heard, and to demand spaces where everyone belongs.

ABLE-CLSU joins the motorcade and opening for Guidance Awareness Month 2026!

With this year’s theme, 𝐖𝐄 (𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, the celebration echoes what ABLE-CLSU has always stood for: breaking limits and empowering those whose voices are often overlooked.

For us, guidance is not only about direction — it is about recognition.
It is about ensuring that students with disabilities, solo parents, gender-diverse students, and every marginalized sector are not treated as afterthoughts, but as equal stakeholders in this university.

Awareness is powerful.
But awareness without action is silence.

This month, ABLE-CLSU commits to:

• Strengthening conversations on mental health that include disability-sensitive perspectives, inclusivity for indegnous people, and strength for student-single parents around CLSU.
• Promoting safe and accessible spaces for all genders
• Challenging stigma through education and visibility
• Standing in solidarity with every student who feels unseen

Because inclusion is not charity.
It is justice.

Guidance Awareness Month reminds us that transformation begins when institutions listen, and real change happens when communities respond. ABLE-CLSU chooses to respond with courage, advocacy, and unwavering commitment.

When one student finds support, we move forward.
When one barrier falls, we all rise.

𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐘 & 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄: 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐩 & 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 📸🍬

A little sweetness can go a long way. Through Candy & Care, we aim to sprinkle hope, kindness, and encouragement across our community, one candy and one caring word at a time.

Each candy carries a message of affirmation and support, reminding everyone that even small acts of compassion can brighten someone’s day. But we’re not stopping there — we want your voice to be part of this movement!

Take a photo of your candy or any creative snap that captures the spirit of mental health awareness, and share it on social media with the official hashtags #𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 and #𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Along with your post, write a short caption that advocates for mental health, spreads positivity, and encourages others to care a little more.

Because sometimes, one kind word can change someone’s perspective — and one small act can spark hope that lasts.

Every post shared adds to a growing wave of compassion and awareness. Your message might just be the sweetness someone needs today.

Sometimes, a message is all it takes to make a difference. 🖌🎨

Through 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁, we invite you to transform your thoughts and emotions into powerful balatengga, short yet meaningful messages that speak of hope, kindness, and courage.
Each line you write carries the potential to touch someone’s heart, remind them of their worth, and inspire them to keep going.

In a world where words can both heal and hurt, let yours be a voice that uplifts, encourages, and empowers. Paint your message with intention, create with purpose, and let your art echo what words alone sometimes cannot say, because even the simplest line can become someone’s reason to hold on.

Every word carries emotion, but what makes one truly impactful is how it connects, inspires, and gives light to others. Each balatengga in 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 will be appreciated not only for its artistic design but for the meaning, depth, and message it brings to the advocacy of mental health awareness.
