Like a splash of water that brings excitement and a table filled with food that offers comfort—this is the feeling that surrounds us as we gather and unite as one section.

As we prepare to begin another year of our journey as Civil Engineering students, we choose to close this academic year with a bang—by spending quality time together: swimming, playing fun games, and sharing heartfelt conversations.

This day is more than just a break from the challenges and stress of the school year; it’s a celebration of friendship, unity, and the bond we’ve built. It’s a moment that brings us together and binds us closer.

During the Central Luzon State University's 117th University Week Celebration, the College of Engineering organized "Engineers Unite: Building Connections and Giving Back," led by the College of Engineering Student Council (CESC) at the CLIRDEC Building on April 8, 2024. This event aimed to recognize the academic success achieved by students last semester through their hard work, grit, and dedication to their respective programs. Among those acknowledged were students from BSCE 1-1, recognized as Dean's Listers and recipients of Leadership and Extra-Curricular Awards.

Civil Engineering students are renowned for their competency in mathematics and skills in solving numerical problems. They devour Calculus in the morning and consume Physics during their dinners. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Beneath the surface, these students are also individuals who have something they are passionate about. Before becoming Civil Engineering students, they were children who honed their skills through the years to master great things.

This time, they have put down their calculators and picked up their pens and paper once again, going back to their roots as student journalists. Congratulations to these BSCE 1-1 students who have achieved incredible things in the recent 2nd University Publications Press Conference held on March 8–9, 2024. You've brought recognition to our block, establishing the truth that we are more than just students who solve long mathematical problems.
