Mechanics:
 The contest is open to all Junior High School and Senior High School students only.
 Each section in every grade level must have 2 models (Male and Female).
 Each section participants must create costumes for their chosen models out of the recyclable materials such as platics, papers and cans.
 This will be the joined efforts of the whole section and it will be recorded as performance task in science.
 On the day of the contest every models of each sections must have their walk (RAMPA) to showcase their recyclable costumes.
 Each model will have their liberty to promote and have insights about their costumes on the school lobby.
 The advisers may help their students for the creation of their costumes and encourage them to used recyclable materials.
 The ECO-Rampa participants will be judge based on the following criteria:
• Materials used 35%
• Originality 20%
• Creativity 25%
• Relevance to the SCIMATECH theme 20%
 This contest will be one of the highlights of SCIMATECH Month
o Target Date: September 28, 2023
o Time: 2:00pm-4:00pm
o Venue: Old Building Lobby

Come and Join the SCI-MA-TECH QUIZ BEE 2023

Mechanics:
 This contest is open for Grade 4- Grade 12 students in Arandia College Inc.
 Each section must have one team comprises of three members only.
 Every department must conduct their own SciMaTech Quiz Bee.
 Participants must have the following before the contest starts:
1. Card boards (1/8 illustration board that divided into 4) each card board has a letters (A,B,C,D)
2. 1/8 illustration board and Chalk for the enumeration type questions.
 The coverage of the quiz bee includes:
1. Science
2. Mathematics
3. Computer
 The quiz master shall read the question twice. After the second (2nd) reading, the quiz master shall say “go”, only then the participants be allowed to raise their answers. Automatically, the corresponding time-limit will begin with the word “go” by the quiz master.
 The quiz bee is composed of five (5) questions each round (easy, average and difficult). All rounds are provided with multiple choices. There is corresponding time limit for each difficulty: 10 seconds for easy round, 15 seconds for average round and 20 seconds for difficult round.
 Participants are given enough time to answer after the question was read or after the quiz master announced “Time’s up, raise your answers”.
 Each correct answer for easy round is equivalent to two (2) points, for average round equivalent to three (3) points, and for difficult round equivalent to five (5) points.
 After each rounds the team with lowest score will be eliminated.
 This contest will serve as the opening program of SCIMATECH Month
