The 𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 Enthusiast Linguaphile in English and Literature community gathered to celebrate their passion for English and literature as students showcased their talent, creativity, and confidence through various literary and speaking events. The on-the-spot movie parody and fun parlor games filled the day with laughter, cheers, and so much energy that some even lost their voices. 🎭📚

More than a celebration, the event reinforced the value of being an English major. It reminded everyone that for BSED English students, “No” is not an answer. Challenges are meant to be faced, voices are meant to be heard, and every opportunity is a chance to step up and grow. ✨

𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚

The ELITE Organization, alongside fellow BSED organizations SAMAFIL and MATHENIKS, joined forces in a united community outreach last December 10, 2025, at the Barangay Gym in Prosperidad, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

IP learners from Prosperidad Tribal Eelementary School and Prosperidad Elementary School took part in interactive learning activities, collaborative sessions, a joyful showcase of talents from each organization, and a heartwarming gift-giving prepared especially for the children.

With the shared efforts of the BSED student organizations, faculty and staff, Prosperidad Tribal Village officials, and the Office of the Municipal Vice Mayor, the event became a meaningful celebration of unity, learning, and community empowerment.

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀!

In light of the recent earthquake that heavily struck the Municipality of Manay, Davao
Oriental, many of our fellow Mindanaoans are currently in dire need of assistance and
relief. In response to this humanitarian crisis, the Davao de Oro State College –
Montevista Campus, through the Office of the Student Council and Organizations
Section and Office of Student Affairs and Services Unit, is launching a Donation Drive
to extend help and solidarity to the affected communities.

We are humbly inviting all student organizations, faculty members, staff, and
stakeholders to participate in this collective effort. Donations in the form of nonperishable food items, bottled water, clothes, hygiene kits, blankets, and monetary
contributions are sincerely encouraged.

Donations may be dropped off at the SASU Office, from October 20–22, 2025, during
office hours. All collected goods and funds will be turned over to the official relief
operations coordinated by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Office (PDRRMO) of Davao Oriental.

In the meantime, we are looking for partner stakeholders who can provide the means
to deliver the donations that will be collected.

Let us stand together in compassion and solidarity, embodying the spirit of service and
community that defines Davao de Oro State College. Your generosity will go a long way
in bringing hope and relief to our brothers and sisters in need.

With this year's theme "Mystical wits: Showcasing Courage, Camaraderie, and Wisdom in a Divine Flair" the overall event gracefully encapsulates the teeming potentials embedded in the organization's elite members and celebrates them relentlessly.

The ELITE culmination marks as a remarkable journey for the ELITE Organization, celebrating milestones throughout the year and honoring the outstanding achievements of its members. The culmination program aims to ignite the spirit of excellence as students continue to sail on learning more about language and literature.

Moreover, a successful activity would not be made possible without the expertise and the aid of our esteemed English Instructors. With this, we extend our sincerest gratitude to our distinguished panel of judges, especially, to our very own Club Adviser, Ms. Jasmine Rose Fiel-Geverola, MAEd, ELITE officers for the tireless efforts, and to all the members who showed up and showcased their indubitable performances in this year's ELITE Culmination.
