Pambungad na Palatuntunan sa Buwan ng Wika at ASEAN 2026

Opisyal na binuksan ng Punong Elementary School ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at ASEAN 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang makabuluhang Pambungad na Palatuntunan na dinaluhan ng mga g**o, non-teaching personnel, at mga mag-aaral.

Sa pagbubukas ng pagdiriwang, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng ating wikang pambansa bilang sagisag ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. Kasabay nito ay pinalawak din ang kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral sa kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa, paggalang sa pagkakaiba-iba ng kultura, at kooperasyon ng mga bansang kabilang sa ASEAN.

Bilang bahagi ng selebrasyon sa buong buwan ng Agosto, iba't ibang classroom-based at lesson-integrated activities ang isasagawa upang maisabuhay at mapalalim ang pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa Wikang Filipino at ASEAN. Ang mga gawaing ito ay isasama sa iba't ibang asignatura upang maging mas makabuluhan at konektado sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pagkatuto.

Bukod dito, tuwing Lunes sa Flag Raising Ceremony, magkakaroon ng ASEAN at Buwan ng Wika Trivia Questions upang subukin at palawakin ang kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral. Magkakaroon din ng mga pagtatanghal (presentations) mula sa bawat baitang bilang pagpapakita ng kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagpapahalaga sa ating kultura at sa mayamang pamana ng mga bansang kasapi ng ASEAN.

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito upang higit pang mapaigting ang pagmamahal sa ating sariling wika, paggalang sa iba't ibang kultura, at pagkakaisa bilang bahagi ng sambayanang Pilipino at ng komunidad ng ASEAN.

✨ Successful Cluster GAD Seminar! ✨

Four schools came together in a shared commitment to promote gender equality and inclusive education through the successful conduct of the Gender and Development (GAD) Seminar.

This meaningful activity strengthened the participants' understanding of Gender and Development, fostering awareness, respect, inclusivity, and gender-responsive practices in our schools.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Resource Speaker, Ma'am Grimilen Pagute Agusan , for generously sharing your expertise, knowledge, and inspiring insights. Your valuable discussion has empowered us to become stronger advocates of Gender and Development in our respective schools.

In line with Division Memorandum No. 464, s. 2026, entitled "Reiteration of Regional Memorandum No. 577, s. 2026: Strengthening School Safety Through Preventive Measures, Emergency Response Drills, and School–PNP Coordination on Security-Related Incidents," Punong Elementary School successfully conducted its School Safety Awareness Symposium.

This meaningful activity strengthened our learners' awareness on crime prevention and personal safety, anti-bullying awareness, child protection, cyber safety and responsible use of social media, drug abuse prevention education, juvenile delinquency prevention, and respect for the law and community responsibility, further promoting a safe, secure, and learner-friendly school environment.

PRE-OBSERVATION CONFERENCE

In preparation for the upcoming Multigrade Classroom Observation on July 30, 2026, Punong Elementary School successfully conducted its Pre-Observation Conference, fostering meaningful collaboration between the School Head and teachers.

The conference served as a venue to discuss the Agreed Observation Focus, review multigrade lesson plans, align instructional strategies with DepEd's Multigrade Teaching Guidelines, and ensure that teaching approaches effectively address the diverse learning needs of learners in a multigrade classroom.

This activity reinforces our belief that classroom observation is not merely an evaluation, but a collaborative coaching process that strengthens instructional practices, promotes reflective teaching, and supports continuous professional growth for the benefit of every learner.

📚 SLAC Session | Strengthening Multigrade Teaching through the ILAW Framework

Today, our teachers gathered for another meaningful School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session focused on the Modified Multigrade Lesson Plan using the ILAW Framework.

The session provided an opportunity to deepen our understanding of designing learner-centered, inclusive, and responsive lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of multigrade classrooms. Through collaborative discussions, sharing of best practices, and hands-on planning activities, our teachers strengthened their capacity to deliver quality instruction that ensures every learner is engaged and supported.
