YOUR CLINICAL JOURNEY: WARD & DR DUTY GUIDELINES ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธโœจ

The wait is over. The clinical floors are waiting for your footsteps. Gear up, 3rd Years, because you are officially crossing the bridge from theory to practice! You are now stepping into the busy corridors of the ward or entering the sacred space of the Delivery Room, you are walking directly into your calling. Every tool you pack and every detail of your uniform represents the care, competence, and devotion you bring to the lives in your hands. You did not bend through the hardest miles of this journeyโ€”now, step forward with pride.

To help you stay organized, feel supported, and avoid any unnecessary clinical stress, here is your guidelines for both Ward and Delivery Room (DR) rotations.

CLINICAL UNIFORMS AND ESSENTIALS

Ward Duty Uniform:
โ€ข Type A Uniform with Apron and White Stockings and Close Plain White Clinical Shoes

Delivery Room Duty Uniforms:
โ€ข Maroon scrub suit
โ€ข Army green PPE
โ€ข Designated green and red cross-design slippers (depending on your clinical area assignment)

Personal Grooming (Both Duties):
โ€ข Keep your hair in a clean bun secured with a black tie and a black ribbon hairnet.
โ€ข Light makeup is required to maintain a fresh, approachable look.
โ€ข Natural, short, clean nails only (strictly no colored polish or extensions).

Accessories:
โ€ข Only your analog wristwatch
โ€ข Leave all bracelets, necklace and earrings at home.

Preparing your gear ahead of time is how you protect your peace of mind before a busy shift. Look out for your peers, keep each other on track, and walk into your duties with absolute pride. You are ready for this milestone, You've got this 3rd Years!
