The SCCians 4-H Club proudly recognizes our Vice Chairperson, 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙚 𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙙𝙖, for actively participating in the 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 (𝘽𝙇𝙎) 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 2026 organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) of Southern Christian College on August 21–22, 2026, at Eden Hall, SCC Nature Farm 1, Midsayap, Cotabato.

This training is a meaningful step toward becoming more prepared, responsive, and ready to save lives. ❤️🚑

𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖? 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝟒-𝐇 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐔𝐒

Before we wore the 4-H name, before the familiar Head, Heart, Hands, and Health became our guiding values, there was a story rooted in the vision of one remarkable Filipina, Maria Y. Orosa.Through her work in rural development and Home Extension, Orosa helped promote youth education through practical activities such as gardening, food preservation, poultry raising, nutrition, and livelihood. This spirit of developing young people eventually grew through the 4-W Club, whose values stood for Will, Well-being, Work, and Wisdom. In 1952, the 4-W Clubs adopted the name 4-H Clubs, carrying forward the mission of helping young people learn by doing, develop leadership, serve their communities, and contribute to agriculture and rural development.

Today, every time we say “4-H", we become part of that continuing story. 🌱 From 4-W to 4-H,from one generation to another, the name may have changed—but the purpose remains: to grow young people who think with their Head, care with their Heart, work with their Hands, and live with Health.💚

And now, the next chapter is ours to write. We are not just members of 4-H—we are growing the legacy.🌾✨

The 𝐒𝐂𝐂𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒-𝐇 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 was honored to be invited as guest speakers on 𝘗𝘈𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘓𝘈𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘈𝘕𝘎𝘒𝘈𝘗𝘈𝘠𝘈𝘗𝘈𝘈𝘕 𝘈𝘛 𝘗𝘈𝘕𝘎𝘒𝘈𝘜𝘕𝘓𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘕 – 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 3: 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘌𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘦 6 where we shared insights on the topic:

The SCCians 4-H Club proudly participated in the 𝘒𝘖𝘕𝘌𝘒𝘢𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯: 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦-𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 organized by SOXAARRDEC, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), JICA, DA-BAR, SEARCA, UPLBFI, DOST-PCAARRD, the Local Government Unit of Midsayap, and other partner institutions.

This event provided an opportunity to learn from experts, exchange ideas, and explore innovative climate-smart agricultural practices that promote sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, and resilient communities.

As future agricultural professionals, we remain committed to expanding our knowledge and applying climate-smart solutions that contribute to a more sustainable and food-secure future.

Together, let's cultivate knowledge and grow a climate-smart future!
