🪐 Be Like Pluto

In 2006, astronomers changed the official definition of a planet, and Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. Although it lost its status as the ninth planet, nothing about Pluto itself changed. It still follows the same long, elliptical orbit around the Sun, taking about 248 Earth years to complete one journey. It remains a fascinating icy world with towering mountains, vast plains of frozen nitrogen, and several moons.

Pluto reminds us that labels don't define who or what we are. Even after being removed from the planet list, it continues its journey through the Solar System without changing its path. It doesn't stop moving because of opinions or titles. In many ways, Pluto has become a symbol of resilience, reminding us to stay true to ourselves, keep moving forward, and let our actions not other people's judgments define who we are.

𝗘𝗟 𝗡𝗜𝗡̃𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖 - 𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗦𝗔

PAGASA announces that El Niño conditions have emerged in the tropical Pacific after sea surface temperatures reached the +0.5°C threshold in May 2026.

However, other global weather monitoring agencies, are yet to announce the arrival of El Niño.

Climate models indicate an over 80% chance of a full El Niño event lasting until early 2027.

El Niño often brings below-normal rainfall to much of the Philippines, increasing the risk of dry spells and drought.

However, western areas may still experience above-normal rainfall during the Habagat season, especially when intensified by tropical cyclones.
