ISAT U Miagao Campus successfully held a World AIDS Day symposium and free, confidential HIV testing for students, strengthening awareness and encouraging everyone to know their status. The activity sparked meaningful conversations on prevention, stigma, and support, and helped participants better understand available HIV services in the community.

Congratulations to the non-teaching personnel of ISAT U Miagao Campus for emerging as First Runner Up in the 3rd Annual GAD Quiz Bee, a key highlight of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. The achievement demonstrates that office and support staff are powerful advocates for Gender and Development, helping build a safer, more gender-fair, and VAW-free university community. ���

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗔𝗪

In our stand for a VAW-free Philippines, one truth must guide us: we are all accountable, we are all responsible.

Ms. Anna Margarita G. Nuque, Information Officer II from the IACVAWC Secretariat, showed how anyone can move from a passive bystander to a brave upstander in responding to violence across all settings.

Because in the face of VAW, silence is complicity; intervention is mandatory.

She closed her session at the “ ? Youth Got This!” Forum by asking the participants to make this commitment their own: “I can speak up. I can step in. I can seek help. I can help end VAW.”
