🌱 Tanim Ngayon, Buhay Bukas 🌱

Yesterday, January 20, 2026. Our school successfully participated in the Tree Planting Activity, joined by BKD (Barkada Kontra Droga) together with the different clubs and organizations in our school. With unity and cooperation, we planted trees around the school grounds with the help and support of Barangay San Carlos and other partners who shared their time and effort for this meaningful cause.

This activity is more than just planting trees. It is a reminder of our responsibility as students and youth to take care of our environment and protect the future of the next generations. Every tree we planted symbolizes hope, growth, and a commitment to create a cleaner, greener, and healthier community.

As Barkada Kontra Droga, we continue to stand for positive actions and responsible choices. We aim to guide and remind students to focus on doing good, to avoid harmful habits, and to stay away from illegal drugs and other activities that can damage their health, future, and dreams. Through activities like this, we show that choosing a drug-free life also means choosing a healthy environment and a better tomorrow.

Together, we plant trees. Together, we build discipline, unity, and awareness. Together, we choose a safe, healthy, and hopeful future. 🌍💚

Empowering voices, shaping choices. 💬✨
The YOUth MATTER Symposium—conducted in partnership with the Local Youth Development Office of LGU Mexico, Pampanga, Barkada Kontra Droga, and the Supreme Student Government of MNHS—brought meaningful conversations to our young learners.

From Mental Health, Teenage Pregnancy, to Cyberbullying, the session highlighted the urgent issues that today’s youth must understand, discuss, and act on. Together, we build awareness. Together, we make a difference. 🌟💙

Yesterday (October 2, 2025) our BKD family joined together for a clean-up drive to help make our school look fresh and ready as we welcome our new principal. Ma'am, Jennifer D. Reyno 💚 We also gave our support to the SSLG by helping them clean up after the program and prepare decorations for the upcoming Teachers' Day celebration. 🎉💚

Being part of BKD is not just about standing against bad habits, it's also about choosing to do what is right, helping one another, and showing that students can make a difference in simple ways. We may be young, but with teamwork and unity, we can do great things for our school and for each other. 🙌

🚭 Smoking may seem like just a habit, but the truth is it slowly destroys your health and shortens your life. Every cigarette weakens your lungs, makes your teeth yellow, and causes bad breath. Over time, it increases the risk of heart disease, cancer, and other serious illnesses. Many people don't realize that smoking also affects the people around them through secondhand smoke, which can be just as harmful.

Our school should be a safe and healthy place for everyone, and that means saying no to smoking. By raising awareness, we can protect not only ourselves but also our classmates, friends, and family. Choosing to stop smoking is not just about avoiding sickness, it's about giving yourself a longer, stronger, and happier life. Let's work together to create a smoke-free school and community where health always comes first. 💪❤️

The BKD officers and members recently had a meeting to talk about the upcoming plans, projects, and goals for the School Year 2025 - 2026. 🙌✨

We’re excited to start the year with fresh ideas and meaningful activities that will help raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and smoking. During the meeting, we shared suggestions, discussed what needs to be done, and committed ourselves to work together as one team. 🤝🚭

This school year, we aim to make a bigger impact, not just through projects, but also by setting a good example for our fellow students. We want to remind everyone that BKD is here to guide, support, and protect.
