IN PHOTOS | The Grade 10 Peterians had a meaningful retreat at Bukas Loob sa Diyos Retreat House in Cavite, where they were given the opportunity to pause, reflect, and deepen their relationship with God.

Through meaningful reflections, sharing, and moments of silent prayer, the students were encouraged to look within themselves, recognize God’s presence, and reflect on their lives, relationships, and choices.

The retreat became a beautiful opportunity for the students to gain new realizations, strengthen their faith, and appreciate the importance of prayer, self-reflection, and living with love and purpose.

LOOK: Winna Go, together with his brother, Jeremy Go, also a proud Peterian, donated several copies of her book, Seams of Memory, to St. Peter the Apostle School.

Seams of Memory is a monograph based on Go's 2026 solo exhibition of the same title, presented at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. Bringing together the complete body of paintings and sculptures featured in the exhibition, the publication presents detailed reproductions of each work, accompanied by jueju—classical Chinese quatrains—written in dialogue with the artist's visual language. Beyond documenting the finished works, the book offers an intimate glimpse into Go's creative process, making it both a lasting record of a significant exhibition and a thoughtful meditation on her artistic practice.

Through Seams of Memory, Winna Go invites readers and viewers to reflect on identity, heritage, and cultural memory through the lens of her experience as a Chinese-Filipino artist.

The exhibition Seams of Memory is on view at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila in Bonifacio Global City from March 13 to August 16, 2026. Copies of the book are available at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila and Art Cube.

Winna Go (張安美) is an award-winning artist whose works explore the richness and complexity of her hybrid Chinese-Filipino identity through contemporary art. A proud Peterian from Batch 2015, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude as a scholar.

During her college years, Go began receiving critical recognition for her artistic practice. In 2018, she was named a regional winner of the Philippine Art Awards. She later completed her International Master's in Cultural and Creative Industries at Taipei National University of the Arts as a scholar. While in Taipei, she deepened her research on colonial archives, Sinophone culture and diaspora, and contemporary issues in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

IN PHOTOS: Our Peterian delegates participated in the 12th Philippine Conference on New Evangelization (PCNE XII), embracing this year's theme, "Sangkáy: I Have Called You Friends." The gathering was held last July 24-26, 2026 at the University of Santo Tomas.

A meaningful journey that reminded us that true friendship always leads us closer to God—not to gossip, but to love, service, and authentic Christian witness. Inspired by the reflections of Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, may we continue to spread love more than just a feeling, but a mission lived each day.

Here are some reflections from the attendees:

"After PCNE, I realized that true friends are the people who stick with you through hard times, listen to you, walk with you, and guide you towards Jesus." - Aina Verna Lim-Uy (Grade 12 delegate)

"The most significant lesson I gained from the PCNE Sangkay is that together as a community and with God in our midst, we can face the hardships and struggles while being a friend to everyone, especially the shunned. Just like Jesus, we can show love, bring justice and fairness to our society that is battling corruption, and bring change for future generations." - Sophia Que (Grade 10 delegate)

May the spirit of friendship bring peace to each one of us.

LOOK: Last July 16–18, 2026, the Grade 12 students of St. Peter the Apostle School participated in a three-day retreat at Marello Retreat House, Tagaytay City. Through moments of prayer, reflection, and fellowship, they journeyed together in faith and were reminded that a truly happy life is a blessed life when God remains at the center.

May this retreat continue to inspire them as they move forward with renewed faith, hope, and purpose.
