Last March 24, 2026, the GMA Kapuso Foundation, represented by Ma’am Amabelle Rusiana, the foundation’s focal person, visited Simeon G. Miranda Elementary School to share blessings and smiles with the young learners.

Daycare, kindergarten, and Grade 1 pupils were the happy recipients of school bags filled with essential school supplies. This generous act of kindness aims to support the children’s learning journey and inspire them to pursue their education with enthusiasm and hope.

The entire Simeon G. Miranda Elementary School community extends heartfelt gratitude to the GMA Kapuso Foundation and Ma’am Amabelle Rusiana for their continued dedication to uplifting young learners and promoting the value of education. Simeon G. Miranda Elementary School (formerly BOMEDCO Elementary School) successfully joined the First Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) last March 12, 2026.

Students and faculty practiced the life-saving "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique to strengthen our earthquake preparedness. Together, through awareness and cooperation, we continue to build a safe school community!

We kicked off the celebration with an opening program to set the stage for an exciting month ahead followed by exciting activities. In Math, our students enjoyed the Math Art and Math Challenge. For Science, the Science Quiz Bowl had our young scientists buzzing with curiosity, while the Slogan Contest brought out everyone's creative side.

This is a month filled with discovery, curiosity, problem-solving, and the joy of learning!
