Honoring Our Victory, Upholding Our Sovereignty

There are moments in history that remind us who we are, not only as individuals but as one united Filipino nation.

Last Monday, the Mayoyao Central School community proudly joined the Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Award, a landmark victory that reaffirmed the Philippines’ sovereign rights under international law.

As the Philippine flag gracefully rose and the voices of every learner, teacher, and personnel echoed through the singing of our National Anthem, we were reminded that patriotism is not measured only in grand gestures. It is reflected in our respect for our flag, our commitment to truth, and our shared responsibility to preserve the freedom and dignity of our nation.

This observance is more than a ceremony, it is a lesson in courage, unity, and love for country. It reminds us that every Filipino, regardless of age, has a role in protecting our national identity and standing firm for what is right.

At Mayoyao Central School, we continue to nurture learners who are not only academically equipped but also deeply rooted in the values of patriotism, integrity, and responsible citizenship.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026

This morning, Mayoyao Central School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) as part of our continuing commitment to disaster preparedness and school safety.

Our learners demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of proper safety measures and emergency response procedures during earthquake and fire emergencies. Through the guidance of our teachers and the support of our local responders, learners practiced the essential "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique and participated in an orderly evacuation drill.

Activities like these help ensure that our learners are equipped with the skills, awareness, and confidence needed to respond appropriately during emergencies, making our school a safer place for everyone.

We commend our learners for their active participation, discipline, and cooperation throughout the drill. We also extend our gratitude to our teachers, staff, and partner agencies for their dedication in promoting a culture of safety and preparedness.

MAYOYAO CENTRAL SCHOOL TEACHERS' COLLABORATIVE SESSION

Mayoyao Central School teachers gathered yesterday for a productive and collaborative professional learning session focused on the ILAW Lesson Planning Framework and the preparation of the Budget of Work (BOW).

The activity served as a venue for teachers to work together, exchange ideas, share best practices, and strengthen their understanding of effective lesson planning and curriculum implementation. Through collaboration and meaningful discussions, participants were able to align instructional plans with learning competencies and ensure quality learning experiences for all learners.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our facilitators and lecturers:

BKB Election 2026: A Successful Exercise of Student Leadership and Democracy!

Mayoyao Central School proudly celebrates the successful conduct of the Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) Election 2026. Through this meaningful activity, our learners actively participated in the democratic process by casting their votes and choosing the student leaders who will champion the advocacy of a drug-free, healthy, and responsible lifestyle.
