Buwan ng Wika: Wikang Filipino at Ai, kasangkapan sa pananaliksik at tulay sa yaman ng impormasyon

Matagumpay na ipinagdiwang ng ating paaralan ang "Buwan ng Wika" sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang gawaing nagpakita ng pagmamahal sa ating wikang pambansa at kulturang Pilipino. Ang pagdiriwang ay naging masaya, makabuluhan, at naging daan upang maipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento at pagpapahalaga sa ating mayamang pamana. Ipinapakita ng temang ito ang mahalagang ugnayan ng Wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) sa makabagong panahon. Binibigyang-diin nito na ang Filipino ay hindi lamang wika ng pakikipag-usap, kundi isa ring mabisang kasangkapan sa paghahanap, paglikha, at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman.

Sa pamamagitan ng AI, mas napapadali ang pagsasaliksik at pagkuha ng iba't ibang impormasyon. Nagagamit ito sa pagsasalin ng mga teksto, pagbuo ng mga ideya, pagsusuri ng datos, at pag-access sa malawak na kaalaman. Gayunman, nananatiling mahalaga ang paggamit ng Wikang Filipino upang mas maraming Pilipino ang makauunawa at makikinabang sa impormasyong ito.

Ipinapaalala rin ng tema na ang AI ay isang kasangkapan lamang. Ang wastong paggamit nito ay nakasalalay pa rin sa tao. Kinakailangan ang mapanuring pag-iisip, tamang pagsusuri ng mga impormasyon, at responsableng paggamit ng teknolohiya upang matiyak na tama at kapaki-pakinabang ang mga kaalamang nakukuha.

Nagsimula ang programa sa Parada ng Kasuotan, kung saan ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral ang iba't ibang tradisyunal na kasuotang Pilipino. Ipinamalas nila ang kagandahan at pagkakaiba-iba ng ating kultura sa pamamagitan ng makukulay at makasaysayang kasuotan mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa.

Sinundan ito ng Patimpalak sa Pagsasayaw, kung saan nagbigay ng kahanga-hangang pagtatanghal ang mga kalahok. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga sayaw, naipakita nila ang husay, disiplina, at pagpapahalaga sa mga tradisyon at sining ng Pilipinas.

Isinagawa rin ang Tagisan ng Talino, na sumubok sa kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa wikang Filipino, kasaysayan, mga bayani, at iba pang mahahalagang paksa. Ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang kahandaan at pagmamahal sa pag-aaral ng ating pambansang wika at kultura.

Bilang pangwakas na gawain, idinaos ang Patimpalak sa Pagguhit. Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga likhang sining, naipahayag ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang pagkamalikhain at ang kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino bilang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Sa kabuuan, naging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika. Ang mga isinagawang programa ay hindi lamang nagbigay ng kasiyahan kundi nagpalalim din ng pag-unawa at pagpapahalaga ng bawat mag-aaral sa ating sariling wika, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan. Nawa'y patuloy nating gamitin, mahalin, at pagyamanin ang wikang Filipino sa araw-araw na pamumuhay.

A Successful Nutrition Month 2026 Celebration
"Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan"
The Nutrition Month 2026 Culmination Program was successfully conducted on July 31, 2026, with the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan."

The celebration brought together learners, teachers, and parents from both the Elementary and Senior High School Departments in a meaningful event that highlighted the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, environmental protection, creativity, and community cooperation.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Fruit and Vegetable Costume Activity, where elementary learners showcased their creativity by wearing costumes inspired by different fruits and vegetables. Using safe, available, and recyclable materials, the learners and their parents created unique and colorful costumes that reflected the theme of the celebration. The activity not only encouraged creativity but also reminded everyone of the importance of fruits and vegetables in maintaining a healthy body and a healthy environment.

After showcasing their creative fruit and vegetable-inspired costumes, the learners proceeded to the next parts of the program, which featured exciting and educational activities. One of these was the Quiz Bee, where participants demonstrated their knowledge of nutrition, health, and environmental awareness. The activity encouraged learners to think critically, learn new information, and appreciate the value of proper nutrition.

The Poster-Making Contest, conducted exclusively for the Elementary Department, gave learners the opportunity to express their creativity and understanding of the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan." Through their artworks, the participants creatively communicated the importance of healthy eating, environmental stewardship, and sustainable living.

Meanwhile, the Senior High School Department showcased their culinary skills through a Cooking Contest, where 2 selected students compete from each Grade level. They prepared the same nutritious and delicious dish "Ginataang Gulay" using healthy and locally vegetable ingredients. The activity emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition, food preparation skills, creativity, and the use of sustainable food resources while encouraging healthy eating habits among the students.

The celebration also included a sharing of snacks, where learners brought food to share with their classmates. This simple activity promoted the values of generosity, friendship, sharing, and unity among the learners. It also provided an opportunity for everyone to celebrate the importance of healthy eating and community fellowship.

The success of the Nutrition Month celebration would not have been possible without the support and cooperation of the school administration, teachers, parents, and learners from both the Elementary and Senior High School Departments.

Their active participation and dedication contributed greatly to making the event enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable. Indeed, the Nutrition Month 2026 Culmination Program was a resounding success that strengthened the spirit of health, unity, creativity, cooperation, learning, and environmental responsibility among the entire school community.

The season of Celebrating acheivements!

Christian Academy in Davao Oriental Technological Colleges Inc. held its Banquet night at Baywalk Hotel on the 30th day of March 2026. Honored by the presence of the distinguished guest, Mr. Emmanuel Oxas an alumnus of the institution, in particular, our first grade six graduate of the elementary department.

This magnificent celebration was held in recognition of the brilliant Kindergarten to Elementary Grade students for their acheivements in the school year 2025-2026.

The night was full of inspiring messages, wonderful performances and acknowledgement to the students, Graduates, and of course parents who have shown unweavering support and love to their learners.

The ceremony was later concluded with a message rendered by the School Principal Dr. Rowena B. Cabrizos.

Parents' Orientation was held at CANDORTCI's Elemetary Department last June 13, 2025. Attended by Parents of our dear learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

The Orientation administered to welcome the Academic Year 2025-2026.During this acitivity, the School's overall approach to education was elucidated. Included in the discussion were the School's Mission and Goal, Curriculum, Philosophy and, Rules inside school premises and classrooms. The said orientation aimed to bring more understanding to our dear parents about our school system, as well as build a strong partnership between parents and teachers.
