The Mati School of Arts and Trades Cavaliers is officially holding auditions for the 2026–2027 Twirling Line today! We are looking for dedicated individuals who possess a strong foundation in baton technique, exceptional showmanship, and a positive team-oriented attitude. Auditions will begin promptly at 5:00 PM at the Grade 12 Malikhain Classroom. Please arrive early to check in and stretch. Candidates should be dressed in performance-ready attire and prepared to demonstrate individual skills as well as a short routine. We can’t wait to see your talent and energy on the floor—good luck to everyone auditioning!

The MSAT Cavaliers proudly joined the City Social Welfare and Development Office of the City of Mati in celebrating National Women’s Month, standing in solidarity with the global movement for gender equality. Embracing the 2026 theme, "Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!", the Cavaliers participated in CSWDO-led advocacy activities and events to honor the leadership and resilience of women in society. By bridging the gap between campus life and community service, the students showcased their commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, proving that the spirit of the Babaylan—as a healer, leader, and catalyst for change—remains a powerful force within the youth today.

Happy National Marching arts Day!

National Marching Arts Day is celebrated every March 4 each year. It is also known as Marching Music Day.

This special day honors:

🎶 Marching bands.
🥁 Drum and Bell corps.
🎺 Brass and percussion musicians.
💃 Majorettes and color guards.

🎼 Bandmasters and music educators

The date March 4 is symbolic because it sounds like “march forth,” which represents moving forward with discipline, passion, and excellence values deeply rooted in the marching arts.

Rather than relying on elaborate floats or rigid choreography, the corps leaned into the pure artistry of their instruments, blending the precision of their technical training with a fluid, festive spirit that invited the crowd to move along with them. Their green and gold colors became a blur of celebration as they performed a repertoire that bridged the gap between modern beats and the traditional echoes of Mati’s heritage, proving that the heart of a trade student beats with as much creative passion as it does technical skill. This performance served as a powerful anthem of renewal, where every strike of the lyre and beat of the drum resonated as a tribute to the community’s shared pride and the bright future of the Cavaliers.
