To all SPTA Presidents and Officers of Matalom, as we wrap up another successful school year and welcome the warmth of summer, we would like to invite you to join us in celebrating at our Summer Year-End Party!

Let's come together for a day of fun, laughter, good food, and heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work and dedication you have shown throughout the year.

The celebration will be held on April 30 at 7:30AM-5:00PM in Bonnie's Farm, Agbanga Matalom.

This is a perfect moment to relax, share stories, strengthen our bonds, and make wonderful memories before we step into a new school year.

Your presence will surely make the gathering more meaningful and joyful.

The MMFPTA proudly joined the 3rd Leyte Provincial Federated PTA Summit held in Tanauan, Leyte.

This 3-day seminar was a great opportunity to learn more about the Omnibus Code, mental health, the Local School Board, the Special Education Fund, and how to craft resolutions and by-laws.

It was also a time to meet and connect with SPTA Presidents and officers from different parts of Leyte. Representing MMFPTA in this summit was very important because it gave us a voice in the discussions and helped strengthen the bond between different PTA groups.

Attending events like this is a big advantage because it gives us new knowledge, fresh ideas, and better ways to support our schools and communities.

It also helps us grow as leaders and build stronger teamwork.

We are happy to bring home not just wonderful memories but also lessons that will help us serve better.

The 7th and final MMFPTA school visit – a journey of love, purpose, and connection.

Each school we visited reminded us why the heart of every community beats strongest when parents and educators come together. These visits weren’t just about walking through hallways – they were about listening, understanding, and standing side by side with those shaping the future of our children.

To our dedicated PTA members – your passion, your sacrifices, and your unwavering commitment have left footprints of hope and change in every school we've touched. You are the quiet strength behind every student’s success and the voice that echoes long after the meetings end.

Let this be a reminder: when we show up, we spark change. When we care, we build legacies. And when we walk together, we go farther than we ever imagined.

Strengthening Partnerships for a Brighter Future!

The MMFPTA successfully conducted its 6th school visit at Taylan Elementary School, Elevado Elementary School, JP Olo Memorial Elementary School, Agbanga Elementary School, and Sta. Fe Itum Elementary School!

These visits serve as a platform to connect, engage, and motivate SPTA officers, fostering strong collaboration between parents, teachers, and school communities.

Cooperation is key! A united PTA plays a vital role in enhancing education, addressing challenges, and implementing meaningful programs for students. Through teamwork and active participation, we can create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

A heartfelt thank you to the school heads, SPTA officers, and the entire school community for the warm welcome and support.

Together, we continue to strengthen the PTA movement for the benefit of every child!

Through the dedicated efforts of an SPTA leader, the collaborative spirit of the Parent Teacher Association has made a meaningful impact on the welfare of our learners.

Thanks to the hard work of Odias Elementary School’s SPTA President, who tirelessly sought support from private individuals, the school became the highest solicitor for MMFPTA's Project LARDO.

As a result, all their learners benefited—receiving lunch bags and enjoying a successful feeding program.

This is the power of unity and commitment in action!

Educational supplies play a crucial role in enhancing students' learning experiences, especially in developing essential skills such as reading.

Through the MMFPTA Project LARDO, the support provided to Calumpang Elementary School in the form of reading materials and educational supplies has significantly contributed to improving literacy among young learners.

These supplies are important because they:

1. Encourage Reading Engagement – Access to books and reading materials fosters a love for reading and helps students develop comprehension skills.

2. Enhance Learning Experiences – Well-equipped classrooms create an interactive learning environment, making it easier for teachers to implement effective reading programs.

3. Support Different Learning Levels – Providing diverse reading materials ensures that students of varying reading abilities receive appropriate resources to help them improve at their own pace.

4. Build Confidence in Learners – Having the necessary supplies allows students to practice reading regularly, helping them gain confidence in their literacy skills.

5. Empower Educators – Teachers can effectively implement reading interventions and literacy programs when they have the right materials at their disposal.

By investing in these resources, we are not only addressing immediate academic needs but also empowering students with the foundational skills necessary for lifelong learning and success.

Project LARDO’s commitment to education ensures that every child has the opportunity to develop strong reading habits, fostering a brighter future for them.

Through the MMFPTA Project LARDO, we are proud to have supported schools like Caningag Elementary School with the funds needed for their SPTA project to be completed.

Thanks to this funding, the school now has a reliable water supply and improved water system, ensuring that learners no longer need to walk long distances to fetch water for their comfort rooms and handwashing areas.

The convenience of having water readily available is a huge relief, enhancing the overall comfort and hygiene for the students.

We are grateful to be part of this positive change.
