👍👍👍

People often say, “The most successful individuals came from strict teachers.” At first, it sounds harsh. Parang nakakatakot pakinggan. But if we look deeper, it’s not really about fear, it’s about discipline, structure, and accountability.

Before, teachers were firm. They corrected you when you were wrong. They didn’t sugarcoat lessons. They pushed you to read, memorize, recite, and think. Hindi dahil galit sila, kundi dahil may pakialam sila. They wanted you prepared for real life, not just exams.

Ngayon, the system feels different.

Teachers are told to be “gentle,” “soft,” “always understanding.” Students can complain anytime. One wrong tone, one strict rule, viral agad. Instead of authority, teachers now walk on eggshells. Instead of discipline, puro sensitivity.

And sadly, we see the result.

Maraming bata hirap magbasa. Hirap sumunod. Konting pagsaway, “terror na agad.” Konting standards, “toxic na agad.”

But life outside school isn’t soft.

Workplaces demand deadlines. The world doesn’t adjust to your feelings. Hindi pwedeng laging excuse ang “nahihirapan ako.”

That’s why discipline still matters.

A strict teacher doesn’t mean abusive. It means consistent. Structured. Someone who says, “Kaya mo ‘to, gawin mo nang tama.” Someone who corrects you today so you won’t fail tomorrow.

Sa totoo lang, many of us succeeded not because teachers were kind all the time, but because they were tough when needed.

Maybe what students need today isn’t less discipline, but the right kind of discipline with compassion.

Because sometimes, the teacher you feared the most…

is the one who prepared you best for life.

True😍

Being a school head is more than managing schedules or enforcing rules, it’s about shaping the culture of the entire school. As a leader, your influence reaches every teacher, staff member and student. Be the principal who leaves a mark, not a scar. Your decisions, tone and attitude set the tone for the whole school community. When you lead with fairness, empathy, and encouragement, you inspire others to follow your example and create a positive, nurturing environment.

A principal’s mark is not in how many rules are enforced or how strict the discipline is. It’s in how teachers feel supported, how students feel safe and how staff feel valued. A careless word, a public reprimand, or favoritism can leave scars that affect motivation and morale for years. On the other hand, guidance rooted in understanding, transparency, and integrity leaves a mark that strengthens character, builds confidence, and fosters growth in the whole school community.

Kaya, bilang leader, piliin mong maging pinuno na nagbibigay inspirasyon, hindi takot. Lead with heart and purpose. Let your actions create an environment where everyone, teachers, students and staff alike, feels respected, motivated and empowered. When your leadership leaves a mark, it will ripple far beyond the walls of your school.
