Formative Assessment – done during daily lessons to check understanding, guide teaching, and help students who need support.

1. Written / Oral Works (WWs)
These are tasks where students answer through writing or speaking, such as:

essays
journals
reports
presentations

Usually, there should be 3 to 5 each term.

2. Product / Performance Tasks (PTs)
These are activities where students show what they can do, such as:

projects
portfolios
investigations

Usually, there should be 2 to 3 each term.

3. Summative Tests and Term Examination (STs & TE)
These are formal tests given at important times in the term.
They check what students learned after a set number of school days.

Usually:

2 summative tests are given in a term
1 term exam is also given
