♻️ Turning Waste Disposal into New Possibilities ✨

As one of the flagship projects of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) for S.Y. 2026–2027, Twenty (20) pieces of 22L trash bins were officially turned over to our School Principal, Ma'am Glenda N. Saragena.

This initiative was spearheaded by our outgoing SSG President, Shaena Kate R. Casinillo, with the support of SSG Adviser, Mrs. Ruffa Mae M. Villegas, and SAO Coordinator, Mrs. Imelda M. Veraces, reflecting our shared commitment to environmental responsibility and a cleaner school community.

More than providing waste bins, this project serves as a reminder that meaningful change often begins with simple actions. By practicing proper waste disposal and promoting environmental awareness, we take another step toward building a greener, cleaner, and more responsible WMRC.

‎On behalf of all WMRCians, we wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to our outgoing School Principal, Ma'am Luzviminda T. Sabrido. For an astounding 48 years since 1978, her unwavering dedication, steadfast leadership, wisdom, and commitment have shaped generations of students and built the very essence of the institution we proudly call home. Thank you for your lifetime of service, Ma'am!💚

‎At the same time, we also joyfully welcome a new beginning. With great honor and optimism, let us all embrace our incoming Principal, Ma'am Glenda N. Saragena! We are genuinely excited to open this new chapter under your leadership, collaborate on new student initiatives, create opportunities for every young learner, and continue our journey toward excellence.

‎So as we turn this page, we are reminded that two things can be true at once: we can be grateful for the leader who is leaving and hopeful for the leader who is arriving.

Last April 11, 2026, we celebrated our 𝑏𝑜𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 with our SSG Advisers. But before we sign off, let me tell you something.

Our term was never easy. We 𝑤𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑡 of things.

Kaya ba kaha namo mag-lead diri sa school? Leading was never easy. Your time will be 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑. You need to manage every second of it because you're 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑎 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟 — you're also a student yourself, a daughter, a son, a sister, and a friend to someone. You have a 𝑙𝑜𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠, not just at school. You also have to live your life to the fullest.

Some things didn't go as we expected. We failed sometimes. We're 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡. We just 𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑏𝑒𝑠𝑡. As a student leader, expectations for us are high. Behind every successful event are the officers who give their time and best to 𝑏𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑐𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑚𝑖𝑐𝑠 and 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑙 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠.

There were times when we went home late because of an event or other commitments, but 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡, the satisfaction after the event 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒. It felt like a weight 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑡𝑒𝑑 off our shoulders. So you see, it wasn't easy. But having the 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 around you, who supported each other and 𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑑 you to be your best, made it 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑖𝑡. Leading with this kind of people is 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑎 𝑤𝑖𝑛.

And to you who’s reading this right now, if you're interested and have a talent for 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔, make sure to enlist your name now and create a party list. You’re 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑡 𝑗𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 this 𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛. It was the best, especially when you're with the right people. 💚🫂
