The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Masbate Provincial Office, in partnership with the Diocese of Masbate Catholic Schools, successfully conducted a Digital Literacy and Google Workspace Training for Educators.

The activity gathered educators from various Catholic schools under the Diocese of Masbate, providing them with essential competencies in Computer and Internet Essentials, Microsoft Office applications, and Google Workspace tools. The training aimed to enhance digital proficiency and support the integration of technology in teaching and learning processes.

Through interactive lectures and hands-on exercises, participants were equipped with practical skills to improve instructional delivery, strengthen classroom engagement, and promote more efficient academic collaboration. The program also emphasized the importance of adaptability and continuous learning in addressing the evolving demands of modern education.

This initiative reflects DICT’s continued commitment to building inclusive partnerships with educational institutions, ensuring that educators, both in public and private sectors are empowered with the digital tools and knowledge needed to thrive in a technology-driven learning environment.

Day 1 of the DICT Training Workshop for teachers from the Diocese of Masbate Catholic Schools.

To address the 21st-century demand for digital skills in education, the Diocese of Masbate Catholic Schools, in partnership with DICT-Masbate, is hosting an exclusive training workshop for Diocesan teachers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the faculty and staff of Bagumbayan Elementary School and their principal, Ms. Vina C. Lim, for graciously allowing us to use their classroom facilities as our venue.

The Diocesan Schools of Masbate will conduct the Christian Living Education (CLE) Workshop and Seminar on April 24, 2026, at Balay Padi, Kinamaligan, Masbate City.

This activity is anchored on the theme:
“Christian Living Education: Forming Christ-Centered Learners Rooted in Faith, Committed to Service, and Guided by Gospel Values.”

The workshop and seminar will be guided by the Diocesan Administrator of Masbate, Rev. Msgr. Claro V. Caluya III, whose leadership continues to strengthen Catholic education in the diocese.

This initiative is made possible through the efforts of Rev. Fr. Gil G. Cordova, MAEd (Car) MACEA President, aiming to enrich and deepen the delivery of Christian Living Education among educators.
