Magrereport na po uli ng lahat ng mga naconsume kong food today ๐Ÿซก

If thereโ€™s one thing that I want to emphasize for today: pag less ang miscellaneous food items, mas maraming space para sa masustansyang pagkain. Thus, wag hayaang madisplace ng wants ang needs ninyo ni baby โ™ฅ๏ธ

Today naghahanap ang dila ko ng something sweet after ng meals ko.

Pero kagabi pa lang nakaset na sa mind ko na hanggang buko shake lang ako today kasi hindi ko gusto yung pakiramdam ko kahapon after ko magpandesal ng magkasunod na araw. Parang walang space ang tyan ko kahit gusto ko pa ng more meat.

Kaya ngayon, mas magaan sa pakiramdam. I feel lighter and satisfied. Wala ding discomfort.

Again, nagdecide ako to post sa pinakamadalas na kakayanin ko ang mga kakainin ko habang buntis ako para ma-encourage ang ibang buntis to eat nutrient-dense food.

And para sa mga dating naka strict LC/keto/carnivore na medyo nagslide back nung nabuntis, Iโ€™m posting para hindi kayo ma-feel bad about it and to empower you na kahit hindi na strict ang practice, tuloy pa din basta priority and majority pa din ng nacoconsume is real and nutrient-dense food.

Since I got pregnant hindi na ako nakapag strict sa practice ko ng low carb/carnivore.

Hindi ko na din inistress ang sarili ko sa pag count ng carb content at kung anong klaseng carbs ba ang nakakain ko ๐Ÿ˜„

What I kept in mind:
โ˜‘๏ธ Listen to my body. Mas naging maingat ako kung ano yung mga triggers ko lalo sa nausea.
โ˜‘๏ธ Kahit hindi na strict ang practice, pero dapat quality protein and fats pa din ang priority.
โ˜‘๏ธ Kung makakakain man ng carbs, try ko lagi ang best ko na pinakakonting kaya ko sa bawat item at per day din.

Kaya magpopost ako not to encourage ang mga tulad kong buntis na okay lang mag cheat or hindi ituloy ang strict na practice. But to show them, lalo na sa mga tulad ko na hindi kaya ituloy ang clean LC, that life happens. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

And lalo during pregnancy, hindi kailangang maging perfect. Lalo at ibaโ€™t iba tayo ng challenges.

If you can continue with your usual practice, then why not?

Pag medyo nag increase ang carbs kesa sa dating practice, wag din mafeel bad. Basta hanggat kaya, sikaping mas madami pa din ang nutrient-dense food items na nacoconsume.

So ayun.

Ito ang sample ng mga kinain ko today. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Congrats, self! It seems na hindi naman natin naabuso ang carb intake natin today pero napagbigyan ang cravings ๐Ÿซถ

Tandaan, hindi lisensya ang pagiging buntis para abusuhin at kalimutang alagaan ang sarili at si baby ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’ก

Thinly sliced beef + scrambled eggs + kimchi for dinner ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

At dahil grabe nga ako magbloat simula nabuntis ako, sauce lang ng kimchi saโ€™ken masatisfy ko lang cravings ko sa lasa ng kimchi ๐Ÿ˜›

Busog uli si Nanay maghapon habang well nourished naman si baby sa tummy ๐Ÿ˜

Edit:
Sa mga nagtatanong po kung saan namin nabili ang kimchi, wala po akong marecommend kasi wala po akong trusted na clean ang ingredients. Ngayong buntis po kasi ako ay hindi ako nakastrict dahil sa cravings. ๐Ÿ™‚

May nag message asking kung safe daw ba mag low carb/carnivore pag buntis.

Kaya sagutin natin dito para mas madaming ma-enlighten.

So hereโ€™s my answer ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

Yes, pwede naman siyang maging safe, pero dapat tama ang approach.

Pregnancy is not the time para mag-experiment ng kung anu-anong but instead, it is the perfect time to focus on real, nutrient-dense food.

Ang well-formulated na low carb or meat-based approach can be safe during pregnancy basta name-meet mo ang nutrient needs moโ€”especially protein, fats, iron, folate, choline, glycine, B vitamins, DHA at iba pang vital nutrients.

In fact, maraming whole foods sa ganitong approachโ€”like meat, eggs, fish, and dairyโ€”ang ilan sa pinaka nutrient-dense foods for both mom and baby.

At tatandaan:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Hindi mo kailangan maging perfect or sobrang strict

Normal lang na magbago ang cravings, appetite, at tolerance during pregnancyโ€”and thatโ€™s okay.

Kahit hindi ka fully low carb or carnivore, you can still:
โœ” Stay meat-based as your foundation
โœ” Focus on nutrient-dense, whole foods (especially fatty meat)
โœ” Mag-lessen pa din carbs at sugar kung hindi talaga kaya imaintain ang low carb o carnivore.

But hereโ€™s the key:
โŒ Hindi ka nagugutom / no intentional fasting
โŒ Hindi mo kailangan ng sobrang babang calories
โŒ Hindi mo pinapabayaan ang important nutrients

Instead:
โœ” Kumain ng sapat
โœ” I-prioritize ang quality protein and fats
โœ” Makinig sa katawan mo
โœ” I-adjust ang carbs kung kailangan (some moms naturally need a bit more)

Every pregnancy is different. May iba na okay sa strict low carb, while others need more flexibilityโ€”and thatโ€™s perfectly okay.

So the goal is not to be strict.
Ang goal ay well-nourished si Nanay at healthy si baby.

If youโ€™re pregnant or planning to be, mas okay pa rin na personalized ang approach with proper guidance from a health professional.
