In celebration of International Girls in ICT Day, with the theme “Girls in ICT for inclusive digital transformation,” the AFGBMTS–GAD Focal Point System proudly recognizes and honors the incredible women teachers of our ICT Department.

Through your passion, dedication, and expertise, you do more than teach—you inspire, guide, and empower learners, especially young girls, to confidently explore and thrive in the world of technology.

As women educators, you serve as role models who break barriers and prove that women have a vital place in ICT—not only as participants, but as leaders and changemakers.

The ICT Department, under the leadership of Ma’am Cherlyn DL. Gallardo, OIC and Master Teacher II, continues to champion inclusive, innovative, and empowering digital education.

Your commitment plays a significant role in driving inclusive digital transformation, helping bridge the digital divide and opening more opportunities for girls in the digital space.

Today, we celebrate your strength, your impact, and the difference you make in shaping a more inclusive and empowered digital future.

💻✨ Keep inspiring. Keep leading. Keep transforming lives.

💜 Closing Prayer for Solo Parents Week

If this message finds you today, may we gently invite you to pause for a moment of silence and say a prayer for every solo parent—those you know and even those you do not—who carry both strength and sacrifice in silence.

Loving Father,

Thank You for the strength and love You give to all solo parents who quietly strive each day for their children.

Grant them good health, patience, and renewed strength in times of weariness. Bless their finances and open doors of opportunity so they may provide for their families.

Watch over their children, that they may grow with kindness, purpose, and strong values.

May every sacrifice be met with Your grace, and may they find hope each day and peace each night.

This we pray,
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💜 Solo Parent Spotlight

As Solo Parents Week comes to a close today, we recognize Ma’am Aileen Dillena, a devoted solo parent whose strength is reflected in her everyday commitment to her child. Through her constant presence, guidance, and care, she continues to create a stable and loving environment where her child can grow with confidence and purpose.

Her journey as a solo parent is defined not only by sacrifice but by consistency—the quiet, everyday efforts that often go unseen but make the greatest impact. She remains steadfast in fulfilling her responsibilities, ensuring that her child is supported, nurtured, and inspired.

As a Teacher III in the Science Department, she extends the same patience, dedication, and passion to her students, becoming a role model both at home and in the classroom. She also actively serves as the GAD Learning Area Coordinator of the Science Department, promoting gender-responsive education and supporting initiatives that uphold equality and inclusivity in the school community.

Her story reminds us that being a good parent is not measured by ease, but by the unwavering commitment to show up, every single day.

Day Campaign to End VAWC noong nakaraang Nobyembre 2025.

April 17. 2026
As we continue celebrating Solo Parents Week, we honor Ma’am Regina David-Mallari, a devoted solo parent whose strength is reflected in her unwavering commitment to her family. Despite raising her child on her own, she continues to stand firm—never giving up and never leaving anyone behind.

As the eldest sibling, she has faithfully embraced the responsibility of guiding and supporting her family—extending her care and strength beyond her own child. Even as she raises and cares for her child on her own, she continues to uplift those around her with a selfless and giving heart. Her journey reflects resilience, sacrifice, and a love that knows no limits.

Recently promoted as a Teacher V in the English Department, she exemplifies dedication and excellence in her profession while fulfilling her roles at home with grace and strength.

Her story is a powerful reminder that a solo parent’s love is not only enough—it overflows and uplifts many.
