Foundation Week — Unang Araw

Bumuhos ang kulay, hiyawan, at pagkakaisa sa pagbubukas ng ika-17 Foundation Week ng Knowledge and Virtue Academy (KAV) ngayong araw. Sa temang , pormal na sinimulan ang selebrasyon na naglalayong itampok ang husay at talino ng mga mag-aaral.

Suot ang kanilang mga house colors, nagtipon-tipon ang iba’t ibang pangkat sa covered court ng paaralan. Kabilang sa mga nagpakitang-gilas sa unang araw ay ang asul na Pangkat Kalaw, ang luntiang Samahang Pawikan, ang nagniningning na dilaw ng Koponang Tamaraw, at ang matapang na p**a ng Lupong Haribon.

Bitbit ang kani-kanilang mga banner, malalaking mascot, at makukulay na banderitas, ipinamalas ng mga estudyante ang kanilang "school spirit" sa pamamagitan ng mga inihandang cheers at yells. Ang unang araw na ito ay nagsilbing hudyat para sa isang linggong puno ng palakasan, tagisan ng talino, at mga kultural na pagtatanghal.

What began as a walk through the school grounds has culminated in a striking gallery of abstract expressionism. These pieces, composed entirely by Grade 7 students, prove that sophisticated art doesn't require a professional studio, just a keen eye for the textures of the natural world.

As part of their foundational Arts curriculum, students were challenged to look past the "tree" and focus on the line, rhythm, and silhouette of the individual leaf.
