May the Christ-child who revealed the hidden face of God be our model of leadership and service. Merry Christmas from the DL-JCAP team.
Our formation fosters maturity, competence, and synodal renewal for effective mission.

New Australian research study affirms the important contribution of immersion programs to student formation in servant leadership.
"In a world where young people are actively seeking out leadership role models, it is hard to go past the example of St Ignatius and the men and women he continues to inspire. The intentional development of servant leadership attributes through service-learning should be a particular focus for Ignatian institutions striving to maintain their fundamental character. For the charism to continue in an era of declining numbers and influence, it is essential to develop a pathway for young men and women to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the Ignatian ‘way of proceeding’." - Dr Antony Sindone

"Synodality is an attitude, an openness, a willingness to understand. Speaking of the Church now, this means each and every member of the church has a voice and a role to play through prayer, reflection… through a process. "How can one lead in times of crisis? What characteristics does a leader need to have in order to face volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous situations? How can a leader transform a crisis moment into one that speaks of hope, grace, and light? How can one lead a broken but blessed community of God’s people to participate in the realisation of Jesus’ vision of a world where no one is left behind, where each one lacks nothing, and where each being is able to live life to the fullest? All these sound daunting and yet these are real questions that leaders of dioceses, parishes, religious congregations, institutions, and pastoral ministries face." - Sr Beth Sulleza RSCJ
