MCA Educators and Leaders: Road to Gold for Professional Excellence on Day 2 โ€“ RSLC-RTC 2026

Building on the momentum of earlier sessions focused on collective review of baseline data and strategic vision, emotional support and crisis stabilization for educators, the congress transitioned into a rigorous focus on technical mastery and specialized instructional design. The morning and afternoon sessions featured specialized tracks designed to empower every educator within the MCA Group of Schools during this summit held from May 11โ€“12, 2026, at the AATF Prayer Mountain. The comprehensive roster of sessions included:

School Leaders: Dr. Uzziel F. Caponpon (Growth Mindset; Financial Management & Strategic Budgeting), Dr. Carla Baluyot (Establishing a Guidance Program), Ptr. Jessie Manalo (Roles & Responsibilities of School Directors), and Ptr. Reymel A. Mallari (Enrollment Growth Strategies).

Preschool: Ms. Misha Delloro (Thematic Approach; Kindergarten Assessment Tool Making & Demo Teaching).

Grade School: Ptr. Benson R. Corneja (PEAC Kโ€“6 Instructional Design; Writeshop & Critiquing) and Ptr. Reymel A. Mallari (Curriculum Guide Orientation; Instructional Design Writeshop).

High School: Ptr. Jessie Manalo (Socio-Emotional Learning), Ms. Meika Ella G. Casuyon (Strengthening Guidance Program Implementation Across Schools; Responding to Issues and Concerns of Learners Part 1), and Dr. Carla Baluyot (Responding to Issues and Concerns of Learners Part 2).

The congress reached its intellectual and spiritual zenith during the plenary session, where Dr. Uzziel Ferriol-Caponpon addressed "Wellness and Stress Management: Grace under Pressure," reframing rest as a spiritual mandate to sustain the "Temple" of the body. This was followed by a strategic briefing from Ptr. Reymel A. Mallari regarding the Revised 3-Term School Calendar under DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026. While the shift aims to enhance instructional recovery, it introduces significant new challenges, requiring school heads to be exceptionally adaptive in managing administrative data transitions and maintaining fiscal sustainability under the new structure. The synthesis of the summit highlighted a successful bridge between administrative oversight and classroom impact, concluding with a ceremony of appreciation and recognition for all the applauded speakers, given by Presbyter Yollie A. Sulayao, Cluster Supervisor of MCAGS Cluster 3.

As the delegates descend from the heights of Tuba, Benguet, they do so as a "God-Taught Generation" newly commissioned for the road ahead. Armed with refined pedagogical tools and a strengthened commitment to professional integrity, the educators of Northern Luzon depart with a unified sense of purpose and the confidence to implement specialized learner programs. This congress has solidified the "Road to Gold," proving that when leadership is visionary and teachers are empowered to navigate modern curriculum shifts, the success of the MCA learner is inevitable.
