“Palaging bumalik sa yakap ni Hesus.”

The JHS Faculty participated in a recollection facilitated by Fr. Jose Emmanuel Caballes, MI, on April 10, 2026.
Teachers are reminded that in God’s embrace, they find rest, and in His presence, they receive the strength to rise again. May they carry this spirit beyond today and into every moment of their vocation and that despite all challenges, they continue to trust, to love, and to serve with faithful and generous hearts.

✨ Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord ✨

“He is not here, for He has been raised just as He said.” (Matthew 28:6)

Today, we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His rising from the dead, we see the fulfillment of God’s promise and the victory of life over sin and death.

Easter invites us to rejoice and to live as people of hope, renewed in faith and transformed by Christ’s love. We are the children of Easter morning, called to live in the light of the Resurrection and to share its joy with the world.

Happy Easter, dear Scholasticans!

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
You have conquered death and given us new life.
Help us to live as witnesses of Your Resurrection
and to share Your joy with others.
Amen.

✨ Black Saturday ✨

“If we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.” (Romans 6:8)

Today, we wait in silence and hope. Black Saturday is a time of stillness, as the Church keeps vigil at the Lord’s tomb, trusting in the promise of the Resurrection.

As a Scholastican community, may we embrace this sacred silence, holding on to faith even in moments of darkness, and preparing our hearts for the joy of Easter.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord God,
in the quiet of this day,
strengthen our hope in Your promises.
Help us to trust in You always
as we await the light of the Resurrection.
Amen.

Good Friday of the Passion of the Lord

“Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” (Luke 23:46)

Today, we remember the Passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His sacrifice, we see the fullness of God’s love for us.

As a Scholastican community, may we pause, pray, and reflect on the Cross, responding with lives rooted in faith, humility, and love.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
by Your Cross and Passion,
You have redeemed the world.
Teach us to embrace our crosses with faith,
to love without counting the cost,
and to follow You in humility and trust.
Amen.

Maundy Thursday (Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper)

“I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.” (John 13:15)

Today, we remember the Last Supper, where Jesus gave us the gift of the Holy Eucharist and showed us the meaning of true love through the washing of the feet. In this humble act of service, He calls us to love one another as He has loved us.

The readings remind us that we are Called to Care through compassion and self-giving love, and Called to Serve through humility and concrete acts of kindness. Like Christ, may we be willing to serve others, especially the least and the last, making our lives a reflection of His love. 💙

🙏 Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
in the Eucharist You give us Yourself completely.
Teach us to care with compassion
and to serve with humility,
so that we may love as You have loved us.
Amen.
