The partnership supports the efforts of Candent Learning Haus and Marvelous Minds to blend classroom learning with real-world experience. As part of their Work LIFE Skills curriculum, students from these institutions will engage in day-to-day operations at MR.DIY stores, learning customer service, visual merchandising, and other valuable skills.

MR.DIY Philippines has launched the Store Internship for Neurodiverse Learners, an innovative initiative designed to provide individuals on the autism spectrum with meaningful retail work experience. This program reflects MR.DIY’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and aligns with its broader Acts of Kindness (AOK) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to create equitable opportunities in the workplace.

In collaboration with Marvelous Minds Tutorial Center in Marikina, the program bridges classroom learning with practical retail experience. Neurodiverse interns gain hands-on exposure to customer service, visual merchandising, and store operations as part of their life skills curriculum. The program also fosters understanding and support among store staff and customers, encouraging kindness, patience, and awareness in daily interactions.
