Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia stands in solidarity with Ateneo de Zamboanga University and its entire community following the recent tragic incident of school violence.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with the students, families, faculty, staff, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking event.

As an educational institution, we recognize that mental health and emotional well-being are essential to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. We encourage students and members of the school community to speak up, reach out, listen without judgment, and seek support when they are struggling.

No one should have to face fear, grief, stress, or emotional pain alone. Let us foster schools where students feel safe, heard, respected, valued, and supported.

We strongly condemn violence in all its forms and reaffirm our commitment to promoting mental health awareness, compassion, kindness, peace, and a culture of care.

May the Ateneo de Zamboanga University community find strength, healing, and comfort during this difficult time.

🎓 Student General Orientation 2026

Noong Tuesday, July 14, 2026, matagumpay nating isinagawa ang Student General Orientation, isang mahalagang pagsisimula ng panibagong school year.

Ang orientation ay naging pagkakataon upang maipakilala sa ating mga estudyante ang mga school policies, academic expectations, student services, at mga alituntunin ng paaralan. Higit sa lahat, ito ay naging paalala na ang bawat isa ay may mahalagang papel sa pagbuo ng isang ligtas, maayos, at positibong learning environment.

Maraming salamat sa ating school administrators, faculty members, staff, at sa lahat ng nakiisa upang maging matagumpay ang programang ito. At higit sa lahat, thank you sa lahat ng ating mga students for your active participation and enthusiasm!
