Announcement

In compliance with Memorandum No. 027-OP, Series of 2026, regarding the adoption of a four-day workweek pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, Series of 2026, the University Library fully supports and has adopted the compressed workweek scheme alongside the Mindanao State University System.

Under this arrangement, the University Library will remain open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This schedule applies to the University Archives Building and all College and Unit Libraries.

The University Library has been observing this workweek scheme since March 27, 2026, following the issuance of the memorandum from the Office of the President.

Please be advised that the University Library does not operate during holidays. We continue to receive inquiries regarding our availability on such dates, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.

𝐂𝐡𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐛𝐨𝐰𝐥

𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬—With a resounding success, the chemical engineering student delegates secured the championship and fourth place in the 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗯𝗼𝘄𝗹 during the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁: 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held at Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City.

​The championing team—composed of 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗡. 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝘀𝘇𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗗. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹 𝗔. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘀, and 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗠. 𝗗𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗻—secured this prestigious top spot against other seven teams comprising of delegates from 𝗫𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 - 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗠𝗮𝗽ú𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼.

​Placing fourth overall in the Quizbowl—an equally exceptional feat rooted in grit and intellect—is the team composed of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗕. 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇𝗮, 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗔. 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗚. 𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗮, and 𝗝𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗟. 𝗞𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻.

​These were the words of Sharifa Sittie Zehara M. Jali, representing the College of Engineering, during the 1st Latin Honors Incentive Ceremony. Her address centered on the vital role of the University in providing the foundations for student success.

​The message underscored the importance of leadership guided by wisdom, ensuring that milestones like this incentive ceremony continue to flourish. By recognizing the collective efforts of the institution, Johaimen’s words called for a lasting legacy of excellence that will continue to inspire more students to reach their full potential.
