The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension, and Development (OVCRED) of Mindanao State University proudly presents the distinguished speakers who will lead tomorrow's Echo-Training on Policy Analysis and Policy Brief Writing.

This initiative aims to capacitate and equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in analyzing policy issues, identifying and assessing policy options, designing workable policies, and translating research and development evidence into effective, evidence-informed policy briefs.

The activity supports the implementation of BOR Resolution No. 47, Series of 2026 (MSU Main Campus Extension Project/Program Financial Grant), which requires extension programs and projects to submit one (1) policy brief as part of their deliverables.

Through this training, MSU strengthens the vital link between research, extension, and policy, fostering a culture of evidence-informed decision-making and ensuring that university research and extension initiatives meaningfully contribute to addressing community and development concerns.

𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

​Please be informed that classes and official work at the MSU Main Campus—including all MSU community high schools within the province of Lanao del Sur—are suspended on September 14 and 15, 2026.

​This suspension is in observance of the BARMM parliamentary elections pursuant to Proclamation No. 1395. Essential services like campus security and medical units will maintain a skeleton workforce. Regular classes and operations will resume on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
