SISID 2026: Environmental Leadership Training Program

The Philippine Association of Environmental Science Students invites you to sail and dive again towards deeper wisdom and excellence in leadership! We are once again opening the application for the fifth batch of Sisid: Environmental Leadership Training Program.

🌊 What is SISID?

SISID is an exclusive program for official members of PAESS. It aims to engage environmental student leaders from various provinces of the Philippines to improve their leadership skills, critical thinking, project design, and management, among others. The program will start on September 19.

Ang SISID ay eksklusibong programa para sa mga opisyal na miyembro ng PAESS. [𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒] 🍃 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚: 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐒𝐒𝐒 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲, 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 💚

Ka-Enbay gathered at the CFES Ground on Thursday, August 6, 2026, for a colorful and meaningful start to the semester. With each year level proudly wearing their assigned color-coded shirts, the assembly truly felt like one big EnviroSSS family. 🍀👕✨️

From welcoming the faculty and introducing the new officers and committees to sharing the organization’s accomplishments and plans, the assembly was filled with exciting activities, including raffle draws and an open forum.

The assembly also recognized outstanding Ka-Enbay students and EnviroSSS officers through special awards for A.Y. 2025–2026, honoring their leadership, service, dedication, and active involvement. Plaques were given for the Leadership Excellence, iLead Excellence, Epitome of Service, Aktib Bata, and Bida Ka-Enbay Awards. Certificates of Recognition were also presented to the outgoing EnviroSSS committees for their service in A.Y. 2025–2026, while Certificates of Appreciation welcomed the incoming committees for A.Y. 2026–2027 and their commitment to the organization.

More than an assembly, it was an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, recognize those who have served, welcome the new committees, and look forward to what lies ahead.

Here’s to a new semester, new memories and more opportunities to live out our motto, “Lagi't-Lagi Para sa Bayan at Kalikasan.” 🌏🌱

The Day of Welcome 2026 marked a vibrant and meaningful start to the academic year. The event was filled with engaging activities, highlighted by the welcoming booth, wherein students were greeted with welcoming smiles, colorful decorations, and giveaways such as stickers, ticklers, and pens for freshmen, bookmarks, free ice cream, and “Proud ka-Enbay” keychains and pins.

In line with the true “ka-Enbay🌿💚” spirit of advocacy and environmentalism, a petition signing for the Anti-“Pax Silica” campaign was also conducted.

The event’s success was made possible through the collaborative efforts of COFESSCO, AFS, and EnviroSSS.
