The College is incredibly proud to congratulate our BS Information Technology studentsโ€”John Carlo D. Bacod, Glizzy O. Go, and Paul Julius D. Labradorโ€”on the acceptance of their paper.

They will be representing the university in a poster presentation & INNOHUB 2026 for their study, โ€œReal-Time Automated Mango Sorting and Quality Grading System Using Deep-Learning.โ€ The students will be showcasing their work at the INNOHUB 2026: Research-to-Reality Technology Demonstration as part of the LAMBIGIT 2026: Northern Mindanao Research and Innovation Summit, happening this April 29-30, 2026, at the Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City.

11th Research, Development and Extension (RDE) Week โ€” Day 3 Closing Ceremony

The final day marked a vibrant conclusion to this yearโ€™s RDE Week, bringing together creativity, purpose, and celebration at the University Convention Center.

One of the highlights of the closing ceremony was the trashion show, where participants showcased innovative designs made from recycled materials, transforming sustainability into art on the runway. Each piece reflected creativity, awareness, and the power of reimagining what we often discard.

While we may not have taken home awards, we gave our best in every aspect and contributed to making the event a success. The experience, the effort, and the impact go beyond recognition.

Special recognition to the College of Information Sciences and Computing Student Council officers, volunteers, and advisors for their dedication, guidance, and commitment throughout the entire event.

The campus came alive as Central Mindanao University celebrated the 11th Research, Development and Extension Week at the University Convention Center, bringing together innovation, creativity, and collaboration in one space.

Different organizations filled the venue with dynamic booths, each showcasing their work, ideas, and contributions to research and community development. From interactive exhibits to insightful presentations, every corner told a story of progress and passion.
