The Schools Division of Samar, through the School Health and Nutrition Section, conducted a monitoring activity today September 30, 2025 at Osmeña National High School (ONHS) Teen Hub as part of the continuous implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) Program.

This activity aims to:
🔹 Ensure that the supplies and equipment provided are properly utilized and well-maintained.
🔹 Assess the readiness of the Teen Hub in delivering essential health and wellness services to learners.
🔹 Strengthen the hub’s role in providing a safe and confidential space for counseling, peer education, and health promotion activities.
🔹 Gather feedback from the school for program enhancement and sustainability.

During the monitoring, the team looked into the overall condition of the Teen Hub including its physical standards, availability of information and educational materials, feedback mechanisms, referral systems, and the record of learners availing its services.

Through this effort, ONHS continues to commit in creating a youth-friendly space that promotes health, wellness, and responsible decision-making among students. A special acknowledgment goes to the ever-supportive School Principal, Mrs. Rowena O. Rojas, for her leadership and commitment in making the ONHS Teen Hub an effective avenue for counseling, peer education, and adolescent health promotion. Her dedication ensures that the hub continues to empower students in making healthy and responsible choices.
Together, let us ensure that every Teen Hub becomes a safe space where the voices and needs of our learners are heard and addressed. 💚
