SELG AND YES-O OFFICERS SPEARHEAD "BIDA AKO! BIDA KA!" ANTI-BULLYING CAMPAIGN

Plantation Central Elementary School (PCES) student leaders officially launched the "BIDA AKO! BIDA KA! Zero Bullying sa Ating Paaralan" campaign right after the weekly flag ceremony. Dulce Amor Rivera kicked off the program with an inspiring introduction, followed by SELG President Iman Kent Salas who led the entire school in reciting the anti-bullying BIDA pledge.

Together on stage, all SELG and YES-O officers energized the campus by leading the BIDA campaign dance under the theme "BIDA: Barkada na Walang Bullying, Inklusibo at Disiplinado." The successful student-led initiative was conducted under the guidance of SELG Adviser Mary Nissa C. Jayme and YES-O Adviser Miera A. Salomon, alongside School Principal Mark Joseph Z. Lloren and all the faculty and staff of PCES.

Through these youth-led efforts, PCES reinforces its commitment to cultivating a safe, kind, and supportive environment where every learner stands proud against bullying.

PCES Launches Project LIG-ON to Empower Drug-Free Youth

Plantation Central Elementary School (PCES) has officially rolled out Project LIG-ON (Leading Inspiring Guidance for Our Next Generation: Building a Drug-Free PCES), an innovative drug prevention initiative under the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) and Republic Act No. 9165.

Guided by School Principal Mark Joseph Z. Lloren, the campus-wide campaign aims to build a safe, resilient learning environment through student-focused "Superhero Shields".

Project LIG-ON equips pupils to make smart, healthy choices by promoting physical wellness, positive peer engagement, and refusal skills. Central to the curriculum is the four-step "Refusal Maneuver"—teaching children to stop, think, walk away, and inform a trusted adult when facing harmful temptations.

By uniting teachers, parents, and community partners alongside youth groups like Barkada Kontra Droga and Scouting, PCES reinforces a strong forcefield against bad influences. Together, the school community stands firm in its commitment to keeping learners safe, healthy, and drug-free.

A huge congratulations to all our talented student-writers, dedicated coaches, our brilliant School paper Advisers Ma'am Annabelle T. Onlagada and Ma'am Raquel P. Tupos, supportive parents, and visionary school principal Sir Macky Marcus Mark Lloren for making this huge victory possible! 💙💛

To every student who stepped up, put pen to paper, picked up a camera, or sketched with passion—we are immensely proud of you! 💙

To those who didn't make it to the top three this year, always remember...

✅Failing does not define your worth, your talent, or your voice. Campus journalism is one of the toughest arenas in school, and simply having the courage to compete, represent your school, and tell stories with integrity is already a massive victory in itself.

✅Failure is just practice in disguise. Every great writer, editor, and artist has faced setbacks. Use this experience as fuel to refine your craft, sharpen your skills, and come back even stronger next year! ✍️🔥

✅Your voice still matters. Winning a medal is wonderful, but the true power of journalism lies in telling the truth, sharing stories, and growing as a thinker. The skills you built during this journey stay with you forever. 🧠✨

✅You are part of the team's success. Your hard work during training pushed your peers to do their best, too. This entire victory belongs to all of you! 🤝

✅Keep reading, keep writing, keep drawing, and keep chasing the truth. Hold your heads high—your journey in journalism is just getting started! 🚀👏

"It is not the critic who counts... the credit belongs to the person who is actually in the arena."

We are so proud of you! 🎉💙

The ink has spilled, the truth has been written, and the journey continues to MSPC! Leave your congratulations for our young journalists in the comments below! 👇💬
