In 2024, the University collaborated with the global Dominicans for Justice and Peace and Dominican Family for Justice, Peace, and Care for Creation - Philippines to publish the handbook entitled "Climate Change and Human Rights Education for Youth in the Philippines."

A year on, the work has been recognized with the First Prize in the 2025 Climate Action Awards by the Ireland-based Misean Cara.

We congratulate our collaborators from the UST Graduate School's Center for Continuing Professional Education and Development and the SIMBAHAYAN Community Development Office for this noteworthy undertaking.

On behalf of the UST GS Center for Continuing Professional Education and Development (CCPED) I am honored and grateful to have been part of the UST delegation that participated in the 2025 eLearning Forum Asia held in Bangkok, Thailand. This forum focuses on the role of information technology in enriching education and this year’s theme is “Digitalization of Learning Toward Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.”

A major highlight is the recognition of our MasterCourse in the Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence in Education as a finalist for the eLFA Exemplary Teaching and Learning Award. This award celebrates institutions that champion best practices in using pedagogically driven technology to enhance learning. Our mastercourse was recognized for its innovative approach in integrating AI concepts into the curriculum, providing students with tangible, real-world skills.

Unending thanks and huge congratulations to our collaborators who worked with CCPED for the development and implementation of this mastercourse led by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs (VRAA) together with the Center for Innovative Teaching ang Educational Delivery (CITED), and the Educational Technology Center and the entire team behind this remarkable accomplishment! This recognition solidifies our commitment to leading the way in educational technology and preparing students for the future.
