𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: The Supreme Court has ordered executive officials to submit their comments within 72 hours on the petition filed by Senator Ronald dela Rosa questioning the validity of the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against him. However, the High Court did not issue a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) sought by the senator.

The senator has been under Senate protective custody after resurfacing in the Senate this week following months of absence since November 2025.

Netizens could not help but notice the roller coaster of emotions Senator Bato Dela Rosa displayed during his Senate comeback after months being absent since November 2025.

The senator drew online attention after recalling how he was allegedly “wrestled” by the NBI, even showing a small bandage on his finger during his appearance. However, many social media users pointed out that CCTV footage circulating online appeared to show Dela Rosa slipping on the stairs while seemingly trying to run away from authorities.

Veronica “Kitty” Duterte has submitted a second urgent motion before the Supreme Court, calling for the immediate resolution of the consolidated habeas corpus petitions over the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte and his turnover to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The filing came after the ICC reportedly issued a new warrant against Senator Bato Dela Rosa in connection with the war on drugs. Bato is currently under protective custody at the Senate.

Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III was removed as Senate President after a motion to declare all Senate leadership positions vacant was approved by 13 senators. The change of leadership comes amid the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Sotto, who had earlier replaced Senator Chiz Escudero as Senate President, was unseated during a sudden realignment of Senate leadership.

Following the vote, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano was elected as the new Senate President. Cayetano takes his oath as the new Senate president before Senator Camille Villar. He was joined by his wife, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, and his sister, Senator Pia Cayetano.

Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa made a fiery return to the Senate after being largely absent from his public service duties since November 2025, even as he continued to receive taxpayer-funded compensation.

In his emotional remarks, Dela Rosa claimed that he was blocked by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) personnel upon entering the Senate premises and was physically confronted while attempting to go inside.

His sudden reappearance immediately drew attention online, especially due to his strong statements and visibly heated demeanor during the encounter.

Later this month, International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant allegedly issued in connection with the ongoing investigation into the drug war case tied to former President Rodrigo Duterte, where Dela Rosa has been repeatedly mentioned as one of the key figures involved.

The controversial video exposé targeting former House Speaker Martin Romualdez has now been officially released on the YouTube account of Peanut Gallery Media Network (PGMN).

The release comes just days after Peanut Gallery Media Network founder Franco Mabanta and four others were arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over alleged extortion complaints linked to Romualdez. Mabanta denied the accusations and claimed that the arrest was connected to attempts to stop the release of the exposé.

The nearly two-hour video, presented by PGMN anchor CJ Hirro, is now gaining massive attention and mixed reactions online.
