🌠 Today marks another milestone as the second batch of 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖 ⛵️ officially begins their Out-Patient Department (OPD) duty as part of the Nursing Foundations I course. 📋 Continuing the momentum built by their batchmates, they are ready to hoist their sails and navigate the clinics with the same passion, readiness to serve, and eagerness to learn. Spanning two days, this serves as their very first of many clinical duties within the halls of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). 🏥

Beyond fulfilling a course requirement, these two days represent their first baby steps toward genuine, hands-on service for the people. ❤️‍🩹🤝 By stepping into the clinical setting, the batch is finally translating classroom knowledge into meaningful patient care, breathing life into the University of the Philippines’ motto of 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿, 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.✊🏽✨

As they don their uniforms and face the realities of the public healthcare system for the very first time, they carry with them the shared strength and dedication of the entire batch. ⚓️ There will undoubtedly be rough waters ahead, but this first rotation serves as a grounding reminder of exactly who and what they are studying for—𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦. 🇵🇭🩺

Our calling is no longer anchored to the safety of the harbour or the familiar walls of our classroom. Today, we celebrate Paralaya's first 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫'𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🎊 held at the UP College of Nursing Auditorium. In this event, 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒔 🏅of the batch were recognized for their exceptional academic performance during the first Semester of A.Y. 2025 - 2026.

These scholars hold so dearly in their hands a physical keepsake📜—yet one that bears the weight of what once seemed like never-ending days of jumping from one topic to another, studying from one exam to the next, and pushing through fatigue and self-doubt.

In a fleeting moment on stage, they smiled proudly as applause echoed in the room—an affirmation that hardwork bear its harvest. It definitely takes time, but 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘪𝘵𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰. 🌻
