The goal of EDRT is to teach student the skills they need to pull together and safely help their community in the event of disaster.
EARIST Disaster Response Team (EDRT) believes in creating a culture of prevention and not just a culture of reaction. We know, we can’t prevent a hazard from happening but we can prevent it from becoming a disaster and we can mitigate the impact, learn about risk, bring people together, review our policies, and make our academic community resilient.
