Building beyond disciplines.
In her remarks at BAGCON, Audrey Wong reminds us that the strength of creative practice lies in collaboration—across sectors, across forms, and across communities. By building alliances and finding our creative collaborators, we create the conditions to pursue our work with resilience, purpose, and care.
Good ideas matter—but commitment matters more.
From journalism to documentary work, the future is becoming more open, more democratic, and more driven by those willing to put in the work.
As shared by Howie Severino at BAGCON, your strongest edge is what’s in your head—and how far you’re willing to take it.
In a time of rapid change, collaboration matters more than ever.
Dr. Ching-Ju Cheng reminds us that culture is built collectively—through dialogue, shared responsibility, and openness across roles. Whether as artists, cultural workers, or public servants, meaningful change begins when we work together.
Stories don’t just reflect culture — they shape it.
In his talk at BAGCON, Liam Young reminds us that the futures we imagine, the stories we tell, and the spaces we design all have real consequences. Creativity, when grounded in awareness and responsibility, becomes a way of bringing those not yet in the room into the conversation.
Because the worlds we write are often the worlds we end up living in.
“Always be aware of who is not there in the room — and find a way to bring them in.”
A highlight from Prof. Arthur, urging us to rethink education, belonging, and how we create spaces for the future.
