“𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙚.” 💀

“𝙒𝙚’𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪.”
The words every applicant has heard at least once.
And if you’ve been applying as a Virtual Assistant, you know it’s not just a sentence, it’s a lifestyle.

You spend hours customizing your resume, perfecting your cover letter, practicing your “Tell me about yourself,” and when you finally submit… boom, the email says:
“𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙒𝙚’𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪.”

At first, hopeful ka pa — checking Gmail every 10 minutes, refreshing Upwork, rereading your message like it’s a love letter.
Then one week passes.
Two weeks.
Until you realize…

“𝙒𝙚’𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪” is just the corporate way of saying “𝙬𝙖𝙜 𝙠𝙖 𝙣𝙖 𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙖.”

But here’s the funny thing , every “no” (or “we’ll get back to you”) secretly builds your patience, your confidence, and your next “𝙔𝙀𝙎.”

Kaya kung isa ka rin sa mga naghihintay ng “update,” don’t lose hope.
Maybe that “we’ll get back to you” isn’t a full stop — maybe it’s just a comma in your story.
