🌟 A New Era for NSTP Volunteer Immersion!

Starting this 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, the FEU Tech NSTP will officially implement the 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗣 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 activities—a game changer in monitoring and recording student volunteer hours.

With this new system, NSTP students can now conveniently track their volunteer hours and monitor their immersion progress more efficiently and transparently. ⏱️✅

This initiative was made possible through the hard work and innovation of NSTP intern and 𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 student 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮, proving that student-led innovation can create meaningful impact within the community. 🚀💚💛

The session last April 25 focused on improving technique, building endurance, and strengthening confidence in the water. Each activity continued to develop essential life-saving skills and discipline.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Philippine Coast Guard – Special Operations Force for their guidance, expertise, and support in ensuring a safe and meaningful training experience. 🤝

At NSTP, we strive to equip students with practical skills beyond academics, preparing them for real-life challenges and safety awareness. 💚💛

Students are honing essential water safety skills, including water treading, survival floating, back floating/sculling, using improvised flotation devices, and handling life vests and rescue equipment.

At NSTP, we strive to equip students with practical skills beyond academics, preparing them for real-life challenges and safety awareness! Special thanks to the Philippine Coast Guard. 💚💛

The NSTP Office will be conducting the Water Survival Training for NSTP 2 students of 3rd Trimester, S.Y. 2025–2026, from April 22 to July 4, at the 3rd Floor, Swimming Pool.

To help you prepare, please read the attached guidelines, which outline the training procedures, safety protocols, required attire, and other important reminders for all participants.

VR in NSTP?! 🤯🔥

Last March 13, the National Service Training Program (NSTP) participated in INYObasyon—an exposition on community-led innovations for Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Action organized by the Center for Disaster Preparedness Foundation Inc.

During the event, NSTP showcased its newest innovation: the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in teaching Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, including a Fire Prevention VR software developed by NSTP intern Jorge Calong, highlighting the program’s commitment to immersive and practical student learning.

The National Service Training Program of FEU Institute of Technology is among the first in the Philippines to integrate VR into its program, with plans to establish a dedicated VR Laboratory at the Engineering Building.

ANNOUNCEMENT: In anticipation of the announced transport strike, face-to-face classes at FEU Institute of Technology will be shifted to 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 on Thursday, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

In light of the upcoming hot dry season, a relaxed dress code will be implemented from March 18, 2026 to July 31, 2026. This is to ensure that all iTamaraws are comfortable in their daily campus life.

Shorts will now be allowed inside the FEU Tech building as long as they are :
1️⃣ not shorter than 1-2 inches above the knee.
2️⃣ not surfer shorts or athletic shorts.

Skirts will also be allowed, as long as they are not shorter than 1-2 inches above the knee.

For footwear, clogs and sandals with socks are now also allowed.

Matatandaang nagboluntaryo ang ilang mag-aaral ng FEUTech NSTP bilang Tutors sa Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program ng DSWD at nagdonate ng mga school supplies para sa mga learner beneficiaries sa Reading Corner ng Walang Gutom Kitchen at Pag-Abot Processing Center noong Hunyo 2025.

Dumalo rin sa aktibidad si Pag-Abot OIC-Deputy Program Manager Dir. Marilyn Moral, kasama ang ilang kinatawan ng Tara-Basa Program, Pag-Abot Program, Walang Gutom Program, at National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau kung saan binigyan sila ng Certiifcate of Appreciation.
